God Bless the youth who helped for this deserving cause!

BIG thank you to St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church, Auckland ⬇️

Last week we were visited by the lovely Helena along with a few members of the church youth group, who delivered 2 car-loads worth of donations! 🥹

Thank you so much to members of St Mark's, we are overwhelmed with gratitude! It was unexpected and extremely appreciated by us and the whānau these items will be helping. As you can see, our shelves are now stocked! 🥳

+ Service schedule during this week:

+ Monday, 26th of February, First Jonah’s Fast Divine Liturgy From 9:30am-12midday.

+ Tuesday, 27th of February, Second Jonah’s Fast Divine Liturgy From 10:30am-1pm.

+ Wednesday, 28th of February, Third Jonah’s Fast Divine Liturgy From 11:30am-2pm.

+ Thursday, 29th of February, Jonah’s Passover Divine Liturgy From 8am-10am.

+ *No liturgies on Friday & Saturday the 1st & 2nd of March*

+ Service schedule for Saturday evening 2nd of March will be as follows:

+ From 7-7:30pm Vesper.
+ From 7:30-7:45pm Agbia (a service from midnight prayers)
+ From 7:45-9:15pm all invited to participate in the midnight praises to enjoy the life of prayers with the angels in Coptic, English & Arabic.

+ Sunday, 3rd of March, Divine Liturgy from 8am-10:20am.(*Liturgy will finish early, for Abouna will be travelling to Christchurch & return God willing on Thursday the 7th of March*)

Please come & invite others to share in prayers & praises.
We ask and pray that our loving God will keep the doors of His church open to us throughout the days and times through the intercession of the ever virgin, mother of God St. Mary & the prayers of the beholder of God the Evangelist St. Mark the holy apostle and martyr.

‎بكل اسف ننعي شهداء هذا الهجوم الغاشم الذي لم نعرف له مثيلا من قبل. ونعبر عن خالص حزننا العميق تجاه الهجوم الإرهابي في مسجدي كريستشرش، والذي كان نتيجته ابرياء فقدوا حياتهم. ونقدم خالص التعازي لأسر الشهداء ونصلي من أجل شفاء جميع المصابين والمجروحين. وستقوم كنيستنا المصريه القبطيه الأرثوذكسية في أوكلاند نيوزيلاند بدق أجراس الكنيسه بالطريقة الحازيني في تمام الساعة الثانية عشره من ظهر يوم الأحد المقبل ١٧ مارس ٢٠١٩ تضامنا مع أخوتنا المسلمين في جميع أنحاء نيوزيلاند والعالم اجمع.
‎نطلب من الله أن يمنح العالم سلاما. بارك الله في نيوزيلاندا وجعلها دائما مكان للتسامح الديني والمحبة.

We express our deep sorrow at the terrorist attack in Christchurch, which resulted in innocent people who lost their lives. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and pray for the healing of all the wounded. Our Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Christian Church in Auckland, New Zealand, will ring the church bells in the sad tune at 12 noon on Sunday 17 March 2019 in solidarity with our Muslim brethren throughout New Zealand and the world at large. We ask God to grant the world peace. God bless New Zealand and May He always make it a place of religious tolerance and love.
