In this conversation, we talk about vocation, suffering, faith, and the search for purpose. He shares how he discovered his vocation, his experience accompanying those who suffer, and how culture, history, art, and politics have enriched his spiritual journey.
We also explore what it means to be a Marist Father today, the importance of authenticity, and how both joy and challenges can help us grow.
Finally, he shares the three things that matter most to him: loving family and friends, having a sense of purpose, and helping those around us.

Some parishioners will remember Father David Gledhill SM (Pā Rāwiri) who regularly ministered in our parish, especially with the East Coast communities. Father David celebrates his 60th anniversary of ordination tomorrow, and some of our parishioners have travelled to Levin to be with him, where he now lives in retirement. For his many years of faithful service in the Lord’s vineyard, we pray God‘s continued blessing upon Pā Rāwiri. 🙏
