Our Community Ministries service, open Wednesday - Friday, 10:00am-12:00pm, can provide practical assistance with food, clothing or furniture, as well as helping clients to liase with other social organisations or Government departments. Drop in or call if you need assistance, we may be able to help in other ways or put you in touch those who can. Koinonia community drop in cafe, where you pay what you think for a great cup of coffee. Koinonia is open on Wednesday's and Friday's from 10am-12pm. FAMILY STORE
The Westgate Family Store is a great place to find quality used goods at excellent prices. What you'll find in here might surprise you! We're open from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday - Saturday. The Family Store's profits are used to maintain the work of The Salvation Army in Westgate - without it, we wouldn't be able to operate! So when you shop with us, you are directly contributing to the on-going work of the Corps in our community. To make a donation of quality used goods, drop in to our store! Happy Mother’s Day!

Hari rā māmā to those who are māmā, loving and raising their tamariki.

Hari rā māmā to those who have stepped up into a motherly role, taking care of children who aren’t their own.

Hari rā māmā to those who are grieving today - whether grieving the loss of a māmā, navigating a strained relationship with your mother, or navigating a life lived with an absentee mother.

Hari rā māmā to those who long to be mothers but are still waiting.

Hari rā māmā! Whatever this day may mean to you, you are seen, you are heard, and you are loved, by your church whānau here at the Salvation Army Westgate and by God.

May you know God’s loving, comforting, mothering presence with you today 🤍
