THE COST OF FOLLOWING JESUS - “Losing your life to find it”

Following Jesus is free to receive, because salvation is a gift of God’s grace. But once we choose to follow Him, it costs us our old way of living.

“Losing your life” means giving Jesus first place in every area of your life.

What are we losing?
• Our sinful lifestyle.
• Selfish ambitions.
• Pride.
• Our old identity apart from Christ.
• Our desire to live life our own way.

What do we find?
• Forgiveness.
• A new identity in Christ.
• Peace with God.
• True purpose.
• Eternal life.
• The abundant life Jesus offers.
