Day of Promotion at Fiji Day recently.

At a recent Fiji Day celebration event held at Centre Park in Māngere, Nga Vaka o Kāiga Tapu’s Fiji Tekivu mai Jerusalemi Men’s Group connected with families and promoted their movement.

This group is made up of Fijian men who are committed to strengthening wellbeing, culture and faith within their communities. Their approach focuses on Talanoa, leadership, and creating safe spaces for men to support each other and their families. Their activities aim to build cultural confidence, encourage positive roles in the home and church, and reconnect men to their identity and values.

Their visibility at Fiji Day has set the tone for their upcoming open day, where they aim to expand their membership and engage more Fijian men in this work.
