Last night, we had the privilege of listening to Mary Goulding share her testimony on the power of prayer, God’s healing grace, and experiencing God within tragedy and uncertainty. What was apparent throughout her sharing was the immense good that God has brought about in her life and the lives of those around her from tragic circumstances.

She shared the following scripture and words with us, which can hopefully encourage many of us when faced with tragedy and uncertainty in our own lives:

“I will render thank offerings to you.
For you have delivered my soul from death, And my feet from falling,
So that I may walk before God,
In the light of life”
Psalm 56:12-13

“A life of gratefulness will bring you peace and joy in all circumstances good or bad.”

Last Monday, CYAC hosted Fr Shernan J. Boquet, AND WHAT A NIGHT IT WAS!! Fr Boquet spoke about
💛 Our anthropology is not arbitrary, every life is of value and every human dignity is equal.
💛 We are social beings - Pope JPII challenged the youth at WYD, Denver and told them not to let this life pass them by. Don’t allow yourself to consumed into “things” but to live your life fully for Christ and let your light shine in the world that is trying to diminish it.
💛 We need to take the narrative back and speak of a different one. Fear is useless, what you need is love.
💛 Love is transformative and moves mountains.

Many are called, but few are chosen. This week we are privileged to be able to hear from 4 of our very own Seminarian’s from Holy Cross Seminary, right here in Auckland. They’ll be sharing how the Lord is working in their lives, their journey to the seminary, and what seminary life looks like.

Come along to support our seminarians, and support them on this amazing journey that God has called them to!

Craig and Amie, both cradle Catholics, started dating in 2020 and married on the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the 12th of December 2022. On September 23rd of 2023, Amie and Craig became parents to their daughter, Azelia.

Craig has a degree in theology and teaching and is currently an R.E Teacher at Marcellin College. He is also the founder of a small business ‘Sanctus Rosaries’. Amie has a degree in communications and works for Family Life International as their creative designer and director of Next Generation.

They are excited to share with you their story of what dating, engagement, marriage and parenthood has taught them.

We’re so excited to have our alumni CYAC friends back again!!!
