Meet one of our youth members: Mr Filimoni Gumatua Savou. Filimoni hails from the beautiful island of Lakeba, Lau in the village of Nasaqalau with maternal links to Salia, Nayau, Lau. He is teacher by profession and a supportive husband to our youth leader.

Filimoni reminds us of an important lesson we shared from the discussions of our sabbath school lesson this quarter titled “The Role of the Bible.”
The bible is God’s sacred words to you and I. Although written and compiled many years ago, it is still very applicable to us in our lives today!
If you are seeking for peace, if you are searching for happiness, for love, for strength, for restoration, for guidance, for instructions, for doctrine, for salvation— the answers are in this book. God invites you to search these scriptures and to be fed from His word.

✨Fijian Community Interdenominational Church Service , 3rd May 2026, Hosted the the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination ✨

While we had the pleasure of spending sabbath with our beloved brothers and sisters in Christ of Gisborne SDA Church, the other purpose of our visit to Gisborne was to support the faithful 7 Fijian Adventist families in Gisborne as they hosted the monthly Fijian Community interdenominational service. This was an amazing outreach opportunity for us to share our Adventist faith and beliefs with those who did not share the same beliefs as us. Although we have differing beliefs, one thing we did share in common was that we serve a living, powerful and merciful God who invites us to have a relationship with Him! So much so that while we were dead in sin, through His grace we have been saved (Ephesians 2:4-5, Colossians 2:13🤍). This message was emphasised further by Pastor Tonga that while we were dead in our sin, Heaven gave their most precious gift, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for sinners like you and me! Praise God that during the church service, the house of God was full of souls🙌🏽 and that hopefully one soul was touched with the message of hope that was shared that day.

Vinaka vakalevu Gisborne for a memorable weekend 💕

A powerful message rendered by Elder Josaia Vasu
“Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.” - Jeremiah‬ ‭20‬:‭9‬

When Gods word abides in you, YOU CANNOT STAY SILENT.

The question is, WILL YOU GO?
