The outward failure is rarely where the fall begins.

When I looked back at leaders I've known over the past 40 years who didn't finish well, I began to recognize something that often appeared long before the visible failure: pride.

That realization caused me to search my own heart, and God showed me areas of pride in me that needed to die. He impressed this truth on my heart: “To the degree pride dies is the degree you will have a fresh vision of Me.”

The psalmist spoke it out: “The Lord is my refuge.” Notice what happened. God became his refuge and strength. If you’re bold enough to speak it, God will do it.

Oh, merciful Father, we honor You, we praise Your Holy Name, we magnify You, we lift up Your Name as highy as the heaven, You are our great God, with You all things are possible, You said in Your words a clean hands and a pure in heart shall see You, Mighty God, renew in us the right spirit and give us mind to bury ourselves in Your word, so that we can overcome the plan of the adversary, Father God in the Name of Jesus Christ, I speak to the east, west, north and south , everywhere my favour is, I command it to my life now. This yoke must be broken now in the Name of Jesus Christ, every altar that is speaking against my destiny. I tear it down now in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I decree and declare that the spirit of prayer and supplication the grace to pray, I receive it right now in the Name of Jesus Christ. Holy spirit, I ask that You manifest Yourself once again in my life, I cry for intimacy with You afresh, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Holy spirit let my body become a house of prayer and power. Every attack on my prayer life, spiritual life, and consistency be destroyed now, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Father God, today we receive this mantle of favor. In Jesus Mighty Name, I pray Amen.
