Join us for Easter!

Tonight's service is a meditative service, during which we'll also share communion.

Tomorrow, Good Friday - an alternative "stations of the cross" type service, suitable for all ages. As a group, we’ll walk to 4 different stations/scenes around the church section. At each stage of the journey there will be a bible reading, a song to listen to, a thought, and a symbolic action to help us connect with Jesus’ journey.

Sunday - Christ is risen! Join us for our usual church service at 10am. As it's the school holidays, there's no separate kids/youth programme running - but there are toys and activity sheets available at the back of the church for any young ones attending.

This Sunday we welcome Rev Rex Booth, who will share a message titled “Sustenance for the Journey” - exploring how we can find true refreshment and strength for life’s journey.

Young people will join us in church for the first part of the service, then head off for their separate kids and teens programmes.

King’s Kids are kicking off a brand-new series, “The Bible is Like a Puzzle,” starting with puzzle piece number 1: Creation.

At the same time, Youth will dive into the Gospel of Mark, exploring Jesus’ life, His teachings, and how His example can shape the way we live today.

We’d love for you to come along, be encouraged, and share in worship together - there’s something for everyone, no matter where you are on your journey.

Church this Sunday…. The world has plenty to say about who we are, what matters, and where our hope should lie - but what does God say?

Our Kids Programme takes a break over the school holidays - for any children attending church this Sunday, there are activities and colouring pages available in the box at the back of the church.t ld

It was so great to host Jenny Hale from the Parenting Place, together with Waiau Pā School, to speak about raising resilient and confident children. Thank you to Lori and the school for all their support, as well as our congregation members who helped with providing supper and childcare. What a wonderful evening!

Sticking around this long weekend? Why not join us at church!

Today we welcome Pastor Sunia Pasi who will be sharing a message about how so many things may change in our world, but God never changes.

Kids and youth join us in church for the first couple of songs and then head out for some games together.

Tomorrow we welcome Steve Rubie, who will be speaking on “Living Faithfully in a Foreign Land.”

In King’s Kids, our tamariki will be starting a brand new series for the term — “Waiau Pā Kids on a Mission!” This week they’ll be discovering: What is missions? Why is it important? And what can we do?

Our Youth are also kicking off a new series, “Bible Backroads.” This week they’ll be exploring the scripture, history, geography, archaeology, and impact of Matthew’s Gospel in the New Testament.

Whether you’ve been part of Waiau Pā Church for years or are joining us for the first time, you’re warmly invited to be part of our Sunday gathering.
