The House Church Network

The House Church Network The House Church Network is a growing movement of Christians gathering in homes across New Zealand, Fiji, Zimbabwe, and beyond.

Our mission is simple: Making disciples who make disciples. FaithPointe Church is a multi-ethnic family based church. We began in 2013 meeting in a house and up until the pandemic met in a school hall on Sundays. We have now shifted our model to gather in "Meeting houses" across our city, loving on our communities and helping people discover a personal relationship with God

Tonight we gather online to pray together. 7pm on Zoom.

We are in the middle of our prayer and fasting week, so this session carries a little extra weight and intention.

Jesus said, "Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them." (Matthew 18:20). That promise is as real tonight as it has ever been.

Two of our House Church Shepherds are currently in Canada, and today they had the joy of worshipping alongside a wonderful home church community that gathers in a school gymnasium. Their motto says it all: "Be Seen. Be Loved. Belong."

Ambrose, had the privilege of sharing some encouragement, and both Shepherds were able to minister through prayer to many within the home church. What a great reminder that no matter where we are in the world, we are one body, one church, one family in Christ.

This is what doing life together looks like, crossing neighbourhoods, crossing cities, crossing borders, bringing encouragement, prayer, and fellowship wherever God plants our feet.

Acts 2:46 (NLT) "They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity."

And in Matthew 18:20 Jesus reminds us "For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them."

Whether you meet in a home, a gymnasium, or a coffee shop the Church is not a building, it's the people. And we are better together.

We have prayer and fasting week this week from Monday 11th to Sunday 17th.
We have our set online prayer times if you would like to join us. We also have our prayer points bulletin, just say yes below and we will send you the details.

Online prayer times:
6am Monday 11th
7pm Wednesday 13th
7am Saturday 16th

Fasting can so easily become an item to be checked off. But fasting is a declaration that we would rather
feast at God’s table in the kingdom of heaven than feed on the finest delicacies of this world.

A branch does not work hard to produce grapes. It simply stays connected to the Vine. This week of prayer
and fasting, we are not doing prayer. We are practising our connection with the Lord.

A time of real conversations meaningful discussion, and spiritual growth. This men’s ministry creates a space where men can openly discuss the challenges they face and find encouragement from other men walking similar paths.

This group is open to all men across all churches. It is also a safe space for men looking to start their faith journey, and for those who may have fallen away from their faith.

We are midway through our prayer and fasting week and God is already moving.

Tonight we gather online at 7pm for Wednesday night prayer and we would love for you to join us.

The early church prayed. They fasted. They gathered. And God moved through them in ways that changed the world.

Fasting creates space to hear. Prayer and listening to the Lord fills that space with faith.

If you have been fasting with us this week, keep going. Tonight we come together and agree in prayer. If you have not started yet, it is not too late. Even one meal offered to God in prayer is a step of faith He honours.

We are back from Fiji and our hearts are full.

This trip was all about facilitating and equipping our house churches, opening the Word, and walking them through what it means to make disciples.

From kids, youth, women and men right through to the Shepherds. Our team facilitated and equipped them with key points from the Disciple-Making Pathway, and we watched something click in our house churches. Some had never seen it laid out so simply before.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." Matthew 28:19

That is the call. Not just to win souls but to make disciples who make disciples.

That is what we planted in Fiji.
We trust God for the fruit.
