New Zealand's National Catholic Seminary

Our seminarians have arrived back at Holy Cross Seminary and attended Orientation Day at Te Kupenga - Catholic Theological College this morning before classes begin on Monday.

Suu Nguyen and Joseph Nguyen begin their fifth-year pastoral placements tomorrow in the Catholic Diocese of Dunedin, New Zealand.

Ka pai and congratulations to Auckland Diocese parish priest Father Mathew Vadakkevettuvazhiyil, who will be the next Rector of Holy Cross Seminary in Auckland. The appointment has been confirmed by the Vatican’s Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples. Fr Mathew will succeed the present Rector, Fr Brendan Ward, at the end of 2021. The Diaconate Ordination is scheduled for Saturday 19th September and will be reviewed after announcement from Government.
