Church this Sunday

Acts 2:42 NIV - They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

We look forward to coming together in unity; to pray, worship, hear the word of God, and to fellowship in His presence.

Wednesday Night Online Bible Study:

We discussed "The Gift of Righteousness" as Paul the Apostle writes to the Roman church to try and bring clarity into the new covenant that Jesus has given for the body of Christ, that we do not earn Salvation, it is given. Law vs Grace, though the aspect of the law is not obsolete, it has been reformed into the Grace that Jesus has died for.

We don't obey God to get saved; we obey God because we are LOVED and REDEEMED.

He is so good!

Sunday Communion is a time where we break bread as the body of Christ, to commemorate the finished work of the cross. We have been redeemed, set free, and washed clean by the blood that was shed on Calvary. Thank you, Jesus.

Luke 22:19 NIV - And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

Luka 22:19 SCNT - ‘Ua tago fo‘i o ia i le areto, ‘ua fa‘afetai i le Atua, ‘ona tofitofi ai lea, ma avatu ‘iā te i latou, ‘ua fetalai atu, “O lo‘u tino lenei ‘ua foa‘iina atu mo ‘outou. ‘Ia ‘outou faia lenei mea ma fa‘amanatuga ‘iā te a‘u.”

The Early Church, centralized their gathering at the breaking of bread, taking part (koinonia Gk; 'fellowship') in what is then instituted as the "Lord's Supper/Communion/Eucharist"

He is alive forevermore!

FEEDBACK FROM THE MISSION FIELD

The mission field is the everyday harvest where God has already placed us. And it is good to see the church putting faith into action in their mission field.

- Adyson and Jae setup a ministry at their school called, "Sacred Space", discipleship for students, every Wednesdays.

- Vaelua who has a passion to pray, applied to have a segment called, "Mission Prayer", on the Ma'aola Christian Network platform, where people tune in for prayer, and to be encouraged by God's Word, runs every fortnight on Tuesdays.

- Marg is a strong advocate for Mental Health, especially for Maori and Pasifika. Her story of triumph through trusting God in the process, has given her passion to reach out and help navigate people to the right services for Mental Wellbeing and care.

- Lupe shared her random act of kindness by helping a stranger in need, on her normal daily commute. The importance of acting on the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

God positions us to show His Love for people, with the goal that it will lead someone to Him. Healed, Restored, and Commissioned.

Results of GROWTH by being ROOTED IN CHRIST.
