🌺 FAITH CAN BEGIN WITH A QUESTION
πŸ”₯ Scripture: β€œAnd without faith it is impossible to please him...” - Hebrews 11:6

Faith doesn't always arrive wearing a cape.

Sometimes faith looks like:

β€œGod, are You actually there?”

β€œCan You help me?”

β€œI want to believe, but I'm struggling.”

β€œWhat am I supposed to do?”

β€œWhy hasn't anything changed?”

Those questions don't scare God.

If you are new to faith, you don't need to pretend you've been reading the Bible since infancy.

If you've followed Jesus for years, you don't need to pretend every season feels certain.

Faith grows.

Sometimes slowly.

Sometimes through questions.

Sometimes through waiting.

Faith comes by hearing and doing / engaging with God's Word. That means faith isn't merely positive thinking. It is learning to trust the character and promises of God.

And trust is built over time.

A seed doesn't become a tree overnight.

Neither does faith. 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
What question are you carrying into this season?

✍🏻 Journal
Write your honest question.

Then write:

β€œGod, I am willing to bring this question to You.”

You don't have to manufacture an answer.

Just bring the question.

πŸ™ Prayer
God, you know what I believe and what I struggle to believe. Meet me with my warts and all. Teach me who You are through Scripture, through wise people, through circumstances, and through the quiet places where I learn to trust You. Grow my faith at the pace I can actually walk, in Jesus' name. Amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Read Hebrews 11:1-6 slowly.

Notice which words stand out. 🌻

🌺 THE IDEA IN YOUR POCKET
πŸ”₯ Scripture: β€œI, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” - Proverbs 8:12

You may have an idea you've been carrying around for years.

Perhaps you've told yourself:

β€œSomeday.”

When I have more money.

When the kids are older.

When work calms down.

When I'm more confident.

When I know what I'm doing.

The problem with someday is that it is a very comfortable hiding place.

Meditate and focus on this question: What problems do you have a solution for?

That's worth sitting with.

What frustrates you because you can see a better way?

What do people continually ask you for help with?

What do you find yourself imagining?

What would you create if fear wasn't holding the pencil?

Not every idea is a business.

Not every idea is a calling.

Not every idea needs to become a six-figure anything.

Some ideas are simply invitations to explore.

But some deserve to be planted. 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
What idea keeps tapping you on the shoulder?

✍🏻 Journal
Write down three ideas you've had but haven't explored.

Circle one.

πŸ™ Prayer
God, give me wisdom concerning the ideas inside me. Help me distinguish between passing thoughts and things worth cultivating.
Give me courage to take one small step instead of waiting until I feel completely ready. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Take one tiny action toward an idea you've been postponing.

Research it.

Sketch it.

Write the first paragraph.

Make the phone call.

Plant the seed. 🌻

🌺 DON'T COMPARE YOUR GARDEN
πŸ”₯ Scripture: β€œFor as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” - Proverbs 23:7, KJV

Comparison is a peculiar little thief.

You can be perfectly content with your life until you open your phone and discover that someone you went to school with has launched a business, renovated a farmhouse, published a book, had three children, and somehow still has white kitchen cabinets.

Suddenly your perfectly good Saturday feels like a personal failure.

But remember this, their garden is not your garden.

Our creative expression can be limited when we allow ourselves to live inside the boxes other people have built.

Culture has boxes.

Family has expectations.

Church culture can have expectations.

Social media certainly has opinions.

But God made you uniquely.

Your assignment doesn't have to resemble someone else's.

Your timing doesn't have to resemble someone else's.

Your fruit doesn't have to look like someone else's.

Spring doesn't ask the daffodil why it isn't a rose.

It simply blooms. 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
Where have you been measuring your life against someone else's?

✍🏻 Journal
Write down one comparison you need to release. Then write:

β€œI don't need their garden to honour what God is growing in mine.”

πŸ™ Prayer
God, help me stop measuring my life by someone else's timeline.

Give me wisdom to recognise what belongs to me and grace to celebrate what belongs to others. Teach me to tend my own garden faithfully. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Take a break from one source of comparison today. 🌻

🌺 GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO THINK
πŸ”₯ Scripture: β€œOn the glorious splendour of Your Majesty, and on Your wondrous works, I will meditate.” - Psalm 145:5

When was the last time you had a thought without immediately asking whether it was useful?

We live in a world that loves productivity.

If you're not answering emails, making money, checking a box, or accomplishing something, you might feel like you're doing life incorrectly.

But Scripture gives us permission to meditate.

To ponder.

To notice.

To think.

Create space for thought because ideas often begin in the unseen realm before they become something tangible.

That matters.

You cannot cultivate what you never give yourself time to notice.

Sometimes the next step isn't another strategy.

It's sitting quietly long enough to realize what you've been carrying.

Spring doesn't rush.

A seed doesn't panic because the tree next door already has leaves.

Growth has a rhythm.

So breathe.

Think.

Wonder.

You are allowed to be a person before you are a producer. 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
What thoughts keep returning to you lately?

✍🏻 Journal
Set a timer for five quiet minutes.

Write down whatever comes to mind without editing it. Then ask:

β€œWhat deserves my attention?”

πŸ™ Prayer
God, teach me to slow down. Help me become attentive to what matters instead of constantly rushing toward what is next. Give me wisdom to recognize the difference between distraction and an idea worth cultivating. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Spend five minutes outside without your phone.

Look around.

Notice what you normally miss. 🌻

🌺 YOU WERE MADE TO CREATE
πŸ”₯ Scripture: β€œThen God said, β€˜Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.’” - Genesis 1:26

You don't have to be an artist to be creative.

Creativity can look like a painting.

It can also look like solving a problem no one else noticed.

Creativity is part of God-likeness or God's spiritual DNA within us, reminding us that human beings have been given the ability to imagine, think, build, and bring unseen ideas into the visible world.

That means creativity isn't reserved for the person with the beautiful Instagram feed and a suspiciously organized craft room.

Bless them.

Creativity belongs to all of us.

You were made in the image of a Creator.

Perhaps part of spring's invitation is simply to ask:

What has God placed inside me that wants expression?

Not performance.

Not comparison.

Expression. 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
Where do you naturally find yourself imagining, solving, making, or improving?

✍🏻 Journal
Finish this sentence:

β€œI feel most alive when I am...”

πŸ™ Prayer
Creator God, Thank You for making me in Your image.

Help me recognize the creativity You have placed within me. Free me from comparison and the belief that creativity has to look a certain way.

Show me how to use what You've given me with wisdom, humility, and joy. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Create something today with no intention of posting it, selling it, or proving anything.

Just make. 🌻

🌱 SOMETHING IS BEGINNING
πŸ”¦ Scripture: β€œBy faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God...” - Hebrews 11:3

There is something wonderfully mysterious about a seed.

You can hold one in your hand and see almost nothing.

No flower.

No fruit.

No sprawling tree.

Just a tiny thing that looks almost insignificant.

And yet, buried inside that little seed is potential.

The same can be true of a new season in your life.

An idea may feel tiny.

A desire may feel inconvenient.

A dream may feel impossible.

A relationship may be beginning to heal.

A faith you barely know how to name may simply be a question in your heart.

Don't despise small beginnings.

What we see often begins with what we cannot yet see. Before something becomes visible, it exists as an idea, a thought, a possibility.

Spring reminds us that God is not intimidated by beginnings.

He created an entire universe from what could not yet be seen.

So what if the little thing beginning in you doesn't need to be impressive yet?

What if it simply needs room? 🩡

🌿 Pause & Reflect
What feels like it is beginning in your life right now?

Don't judge it.

Just notice it.

✍🏻 Journal
β€œIf I gave this new beginning permission to grow, what might it become?”

πŸ™ Prayer
God, Thank You for new beginnings.

Help me notice the small things You may be growing in my life. Give me patience with what is still underground and courage for what is beginning to emerge.

Whether my faith is strong today or still becoming, meet me here. In Jesus' name, amen.

🌷 Spring Practice

Take a walk today and look for one sign of new growth.

Let it remind you that unseen does not mean nonexistent. 🌻

β˜” AWAKENING

Spring has a funny way of making us believe in beginnings again.

A bare branch grows tiny green leaves. Flowers appear where the ground looked completely ordinary. The days stretch a little longer, and suddenly we remember that winter was never the end of the story.

Maybe you are entering spring feeling hopeful.

Maybe you are tired.

Maybe your faith feels strong.

Maybe you are not even sure what you believe yet.

There is room for you here.

This SEPTEMBER, we are going to slow down, notice what God is doing, and make room for new growth. Some days may feel like sunshine. Others may feel more like muddy shoes and wondering when the flowers are actually going to show up.

Both belong.

You don't have to arrive with perfect faith.

You just have to arrive. πŸ’œ
