GRACE AND TRUTH
YOU NEED BOTH.

Because truth without grace wounds, and grace without truth leaves us where we are.

1. TRUTH REVEALS THE REALITY
2. Truth without grace can become condemnation
3. Grace without truth can prevent transformation

Grace tells me, “Come as you are.”
Truth tells me, “You cannot remain as you are.”💯

Don’t give up the creators space to something else he created ‼️

A reminder that there should be no one above or equal to God. He must be the only one that is Lord over our lives and we shouldn’t be blinded by false idols or gods that can’t do anything.

Some reflection questions:
- Who gets to be your God?
- What are your idols ?
- What are you refusing to surrender?
- What controls your choices, decisions & emotions?

“You must not have any other god but me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.” - Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭

What a powerful first Sunday together! Our first combined service was a beautiful beginning as we came together with one heart, one purpose, and one desire, to build God’s Kingdom.

We were blessed with a powerful word from Pastor Mike on what it means to walk with the Holy Spirit.

Readings:
📖 Galatians 5:16–25
📖 Romans 8:5–6
📖 Ephesians 4:30
📖 Ephesians 5:18

Walking with Holy Spirit isn’t just a Sunday decision, it’s a daily action. It’s choosing every day to keep in step with Him.

MIND — What is shaping my thinking?
What we allow to shape our thinking will ultimately shape our character.

OBEDIENCE — Am I doing what God says?
We don’t just hear the Word; we put it into action.
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.” — Romans 8:14
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says.” — James 1:22

RELATIONSHIP — Am I depending on Him?
Walking with the Spirit requires relationship. We are called to continually be filled with the Spirit and depend on Him daily. — Ephesians 5:18

Keep in step with the HOLY SPIRIT🕊️
Not just on Sunday BUT Every day🔥

EVERY SUNDAY IS DIFFERENT🔥

Everyone is in a different season and carrying something different when they walk through the doors of church.

There are times when the sermon stands on its own, teaching, correcting, encouraging and equipping us. And then there are times when the Word and worship become intertwined. What God is speaking through the Word meets what is happening in your heart through worship.

That’s why we should always come with hearts of expectation. Not just expecting a good service, but expecting to encounter God🙌🏻

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8

So whatever season you’re in, draw near.
Whatever you’re carrying, draw near.
Whatever you need, draw near🙌🏻

We’re in a race, but we’re not running against each other, we’re running together🏃🏽‍♀️

The race we’ve been called to run isn’t competitive, it’s collective. We need one another to encourage, strengthen, sharpen and remind each other of the mission God has placed before us🙌🏻

God can’t establish a promise with you; if the promise doesn’t belong where you are in now. He is doing something great and you have to go, leave & relocate.

Don’t get too comfortable! He’s taking the Egypt out of you. Trust in him!

This assignment is too urgent to delay. You have two options; whether you’re in or out? Hot or cold? want to self worship or worship God?

Will you take on the call?
….. ready, set, GO! 🏃
