Keeping that to ourselves isn't being humble. It's just staying silent, and silence was never the plan.

ONEVOICE27 SPD PRAYER VIGIL – LET’S PRAY!
OneVoice27 is us all as Adventists around the world joining to rediscover Jesus and share His gospel. At the heart of this movement is prayer.

This weekend, the South Pacific Division will unite for 48 hours of continuous prayer, from 3.00pm AEST Friday, 4 September to 3.00pm AEST Sunday, 6 September 2026.

Across the Pacific we will join in prayer for revival, our families, churches and communities, mission, and hearts to encounter Jesus.

Please join us during the NZPUC-led hours shown on the attached poster, and share the promotional resources with your churches and communities.

Before we speak with one voice, we pray with one heart.

ONEVOICE27 SPD PRAYER VIGIL – LET’S GET READY TO PRAY!
OneVoice27 forms part of a global initiative commemorating the 2,000th anniversary of Jesus Christ's earthly ministry. It is a call for believers everywhere to rediscover the life and teachings of Jesus and to proclaim His gospel through every available platform, culminating in a united global harvest on 25 September 2027. At this pivotal moment, we believe God is calling His people to unite with renewed passion and purpose: one family, united by one message, empowered by one Spirit, and committed to sharing the everlasting gospel with clarity, compassion, and hope. At the heart of this movement is prayer. Before we move forward to create, post, speak, write, film, design or share, we must pray. We must seek God’s presence and ask for His Spirit to lead us.

The South Pacific Division will hold the SPD OneVoice27 Prayer Vigil at 3.00pm (AEST) on September 4 and will conclude at 3.00pm (AEST) on September 6, 2026. Participating entities will host a dedicated hour of prayer each ensuring an unbroken chain of prayer throughout the region. We will pray for personal revival, for your families, churches & communities, for creativity and mission, for open doors for the gospel and most importantly, we will pray for people’s hearts. We will pray for the Holy Spirit to prepare people to encounter Jesus and that He will give us courage and wisdom to share our faith.

YOU are invited to join us in this season of prayer as we seek God’s blessings on the OneVoice27 initiative and the church’s mission throughout the South Pacific Division. Join the meeting with your church, your families or with your youth and prayer groups. It will be an exciting time of thanksgiving, sharing and praying for God’s leading.

ONEVOICE27 LAUNCHING SPD PRAYER VIGIL
The South Pacific Division (SPD) will launch the OneVoice27 Prayer Vigil from 4 to 6 September 2026, bringing together churches, institutions, conferences, missions, and ministries from across the Pacific in 48 hours of continuous united prayer. The vigil forms part of the spiritual preparation for OneVoice27 and the ongoing focus on TPUM for Christ.

Beginning on Friday afternoon and continuing through to Sunday evening, each participating entity across the SPD will host a designated hour of prayer, creating an unbroken chain of intercession spanning the Pacific region. The schedule includes participation from union offices, conferences, missions, educational institutions, healthcare ministries, Adventist entities, and supporting organisations.

As part of this division-wide initiative, the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference (NZPUC) has been allocated the 7:00am to 8:00am (NZ Time) prayer session on Sabbath, 5 September 2026. The hour will be hosted by John Tausere (SPD) and Pr. Eddie Tupa’i (NZPUC) and will feature participation from NZPUC ministries and entities, each leading focused prayers for the mission and ministry of the church.
Prayer themes during the NZPUC hour will include the OneVoice27 vision, God's blessing upon the initiative, media ministry, transformed lives, discipleship, education, health ministry, spiritual renewal across the SPD, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and a prayer of dedication.

All staff, committee and board members, ministry leaders, and friends are warmly invited to join this united season of prayer as we seek God's guidance and blessing for the mission of the Church throughout the South Pacific Division.
Following the NZPUC Prayer Hour, participants are invited to continue the prayer journey by joining the North New Zealand Conference session. Later, prayer gatherings will also be hosted by the South New Zealand Conference, French Polynesia Mission, New Caledonia Mission, and Cook Islands Mission.
