And just like that another week is over! As we end this week, take time to reflect on all the many good things the Lord as blessed me with. With a sense of gratitude, appreciating that many are not as fortunate in heart, mind and body - we encourage you too, to count your blessings. It is amazing how this reflection can put one in a positive mindset. With that positivity, it brings one to literally have a "love" of life.
Last week's service was deeply thought provoking on a practical level. The message was of the enormous significance "love" holds and should hold, throughout our Christian journey. To mention one of the many scriptures quoted, 1 Cor 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
In essence, whatever you do, do it in love!
**On another note, our 'live streaming service' has been placed on hold for the moment. Apologies for this inconvenience, and for the late notification.
There are a number of reasons for this, just to mention a few:
1) There are some technical issues with regards to a buffering of the feed as the camera now used is superior to the old one but has some "gremlins that need to be tamed"
We are working on this.
2) We have some 'quiet' times in the service. This is where members of the church speak in tongues - due to the nature of how this unfolds, we are unable to mic this punctually and practically.
However, this time could be used as a reflection or prayer time. We need to agree on how this time is advised.
3) We are in the process of agreeing on the protocol for FB streaming on many levels- e.g. some folk may feel this is not appropriate for them to share their experiences on this type of platform. We are respectful of this and wish to also share this responsibly taking into account the legalities / complexities of this media use.
We hope to get direction on these matters soon.
We at ACA wish you a wonderfully blessed weekend and please join us for our service at 10:00am on Sunday.
