Last Sunday, we celebrated the fathers who protect dreams, provide love, lead with faith, and stand strong for their families.

A father’s strength is more than what the world sees; it is found in his sacrifice, prayers, wisdom, patience, and unwavering love. And when that strength is rooted in God, he becomes a powerful example of what it means to lead with purpose.

📖 “The righteous man walks in his integrity; blessed are his children after him.” — Proverbs 20:7

To every dad, stepdad, grandfather, and father figure: thank you for showing up, standing strong, and loving faithfully. Your prayers matter. Your example matters. Your presence matters.

We honour you and celebrate the God-given strength and purpose He has placed in you.

Today, we celebrate the fathers who protect dreams, provide love, lead with faith, and stand strong for their families.

But our celebration goes beyond earthly fatherhood.

A Father who welcomes us home.
A Father who calls us His own.

Good day, FilNZ Family.

Today, let us reflect on John 15:4–5.

In this passage, Jesus reminds us that we cannot do anything apart from Him. He compares us to branches and Himself to the vine. A branch cannot bear fruit on its own; it must remain connected to the vine to grow and produce fruit. When separated from the vine, it will eventually wither and die.

In the same way, our ability to do what is good and pleasing to God ultimately depends on Him. Our resources, talents, skills, opportunities, and blessings all come from God.

So today, let us remember to give God the honour and glory He deserves. Whatever we have and whatever we are able to accomplish is made possible through Him. May we remain connected to Christ and allow our lives to bear fruit for His glory.

Good day, FilNZ Family.

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” — 1 John 4:11

In a world filled with chaos and challenges, it can be easy to become frustrated, snap at others, or respond with anger. Yet, this verse reminds us that because God has loved us, we are also called to love those around us.

God’s love for us is unconditional, full of grace, and patient. In the same way, loving others does not always require grand gestures. Sometimes, love is simply choosing to extend grace when someone wrongs us, showing patience when someone is difficult to love, and responding with kindness even when it is not easy.

May we allow the love we have received from God to overflow into the way we treat others each day.

Good day, FilNZ Family.

Our Bible verse for today will be on Ephesians 4:32. In this verse we learn that we are called to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

It is easy to be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving toward those who treat us the same way. But God showed us His kindness, mercy, and love even before we believed in Him.

As followers of Christ, we are called to make God our example and extend that same kindness and tenderheartedness to others—even to those who may be difficult to love.

May we remember that the grace we have received from God is also the grace we are called to extend to others.

What does it mean to have a good father?

This Sunday, we celebrate the fathers who have shaped our lives—but we also turn our hearts toward God the Father, the source of every good and perfect gift. ❤️‍🔥

Earthly fathers may not be perfect, but God’s love is. He sees us, knows us, provides for us, corrects us, comforts us, and calls us His children.

Come celebrate the gift of fatherhood and the greater gift of knowing our Heavenly Father. 🙏
