Our First Lady Sila Lisone shared a powerful encouragement, prayed over our fathers, and declared God’s blessings over their lives, families, and homes. 🙏🏽🔥

We were reminded through Joshua that there comes a time when we have to make up our minds and decide who we are going to serve.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” - Joshua 24:15

Fathers play a vital role in our families, church, and communities. When we raise up and disciple mighty men of God, our homes and communities become stronger.

Leadership isn’t about being authoritative, it’s about responsibility. It’s about leading with purpose, setting the example, and fulfilling the call of God on our lives.

Happy Father’s Day to all our mighty Men of Valor! 💙🔥

We didn’t manage to capture every father and family this morning, but we honour and celebrate each and every one of you! 🫶

Snr Pastor Va'a Lisone brought Part 2 of “The Orphan Spirit” - From The Prodigal Son story.

2 lies of the orphan spirit:
“I don’t have a home.”
“I don’t have a Father.”

But home isn’t a physical place, home is the presence of God.

When we begin to question the Father’s love, shame, fear and doubt creep in. We forget who we are, where we belong and the access we have to Him.

3 powerful truths from the 📝:

1. You can be close to the Father’s house but far from the Father’s heart: Proximity doesn’t always mean intimacy.

2. We go to second-hand sources instead of directly to the Father: We would rather talk about the Father than talk to the Father. We can begin to value the voice of man over the voice of God, forgetting that we have direct access to the Father.

3. An orphan spirit can become angry at the very thing we should be celebrating: It can refuse the very intimacy it craves.

The orphan spirit says you don’t belong.
The Father says you are His. ❤️‍🔥

There’s something special about watching young people step up, take the platform, and boldly declare what God is doing in their lives.

We don’t just want to build a church for the next generation.

We want to raise a generation that will build the church. 🔨🧱
