Sr Paula Mary smsm retired to St Heliers and St Ignatius parish some 15 years ago. She passed peacefully last Friday having lived her missionary vocation in many different parts of the world including in the Pacific and Rwanda.

The SMSM Sisters will lead a vigil at 4pm Monday at St Ignatius Church.

Her requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am. All welcome.

May the Good Lord bless her and keep her. May he make his face to shine upon her and be gracious to her. May he lift up his countenance upon her…. and give her peace 🕊️🙏🏼🕊️

MONTHLY TEEN MASS + REAL CONVERSATION

In these days when every issue is talked about openly by our teens and on social media, it can be hard to find the Church’s voice. St Ignatius church is holding a monthly Mass especially for teenagers (Years 9-13), who are on their own faith journey. This will be followed by pizza and social time. Fr John Dunn looks forward to hearing what teenagers have to say. 5-7pm Sunday 22 May, St Ignatius,12 Kotiri Street, St Heliers. $5 koha for pizza would be appreciated. All welcome.
