Saint Timothy's Anglican Church Auckland Reviving traditional Anglican worship and proclaiming the pure Gospel of God's love

Who We Are:

We are orthodox Christians
We believe that God is one Being, Who eternally exists as three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Who became incarnate as a man, died for the forgiveness of our sins, and defeated death by His bodily resurrection. He ascended into Heaven and will return to judge the world and raise up those who ar

e united to Him through faith. We do not admit adults to receive Communion or be baptised unless they affirm these points of doctrine. We are confessional Anglicans
We adhere to the Formularies and traditional teachings of the Anglican Church. We therefore profess that Scripture is God’s infallible word, that we are saved through faith in Christ alone, that children of believers are to be baptised, and that in the Church there are three orders of ministry: Deacons, Priests, and Bishops. We worship liturgically and traditionally
All our worship services follow the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and we continue traditional practices such as wearing vestments and singing a ca****la. Our church is engaged in the regular rhythms of prayer, praise, confession of sin, faithful expounding of Scripture, and celebration of Holy Communion. We have a Biblical view of family
We follow the Bible’s teaching that marriage is a permanent bond between one man and one woman and is the sole context within which sexual relations are morally permissible. We believe that God has designed men and women to have different tasks and responsibilities in the Church and in the home. We are part of the Church of Confessing Anglicans of Aotearoa New Zealand
We are stand united with a growing network of Anglican churches who seek to faithfully obey the infallible Scriptures and proclaim the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ to our nation.

Jesus Christ's mercy towards the woman caught in adultery is one of the most startling examples of compassion found in the Bible, and it teaches us to condemn sin, while loving sinners.

The story of the woman caught in adultery who is forgiven by Jesus is one of the most astonishing examples of Divine mercy found in Scripture and teaches us ...

Who is Jesus? Rev. River's sermon for Epiphany, intended to be an intro for non-believers and a refresher for believers, answers this on two levels.

On a human level, Jesus was a radical thinker who calls us to re-envision politics, ethics, and religion. On a Divine level, Jesus came from Heaven, to bring Heaven to Earth, and reconcile Earth to Heaven. He invaded the earthly realm, established the invisible Kingdom of Heaven, and now calls us to enter into it, living a spiritual rather than earthly life.

This sermon by Rev. River Devereux answers the question 'Who is Jesus?' by looking at what His mission and message was. On a human level, Jesus was a radical...

In his sermon for our Midnight Mass service, Rev. River looked at how the birth of our Lord and Saviour in a stable and its announcement to humble shepherds shows us that there is glory in lowliness.

By having his Son be conceived in the womb of Mary, born in a stable, and announced to shepherds, God shows us that there is glory in lowliness and that He c...
