To our wonderful Mothers, Aunties and Sisters. We love you for the joy you show as you serve and minister to those you see.
The Knowledge of Their Mothers
They did not wear the armor of the ancient, dusty field,
They did not carry spears or swords, or hold a heavy shield.
But in the quiet of the home, where weary hearts would rest,
They forged a strength within their kids that stood the final test.
The world was loud with rumors, and the air was thick with fear,
But "mother knew it," was the phrase that rang out sharp and clear.
She didn’t teach them how to win or how to crave the light,
She taught them who to follow when they walked into the night.
"We do not doubt," the children said, their voices steady, true,
Reflecting back the light of faith that once their mothers knew.
It wasn’t just a lesson taught or words upon a page,
It was a mother’s burning soul that shielded every age.
Today the battles look different, and the fields are not the same,
But mothers still are teaching in the Savior’s holy name.
They’re raising up a legion that is honest, brave, and kind,
With "Holiness unto the Lord" engraved upon the mind.
So here’s to those who teach the truth when faith is hard to find,
Who leave a legacy of light for those who walk behind.
Because of you, the children stand; because of you, they see,
That "mother knew" the only path to peace and victory.
