Jesus the Good Shepherd Prayer Group Jesus the Good Shepherd prayer group is a Catholic Charismatic prayer group that operates under the authority of the Auckland Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Jesus the Good Shepherd prayer group was formed in December 2012 and had its first meeting on 5th December 2012 at St Vincent de Paul Parish, Milford. Each prayer meeting begins with a time of vibrant ‘Praise and Worship’. This is followed by a time of listening to God speaking and sharing words of prophecy, wisdom and knowledge. There is always a teaching which is often followed by group sharing

and praying over people for their needs. The Holy Spirit is constantly doing new and wonderful things in the group and keeps us amazed by the constant answers to our prayers; with healings, visa approvals, job offers, promotions, driving licenses and simply giving us the peace and joy that comes only from Jesus. We have a core team with several different ministries to take care of the needs of its members. Some of the ministries are: Praise & Worship, Intercession, Teaching, Caring, Healing, Shepherding, etc. The core team meet on regular basis to plan our annual Life in the Spirit event and other group activities for its members. Whilst each ministries meet as required. We have an Intercessory group that meet every Monday to pray and intercede for the needs of its members, family & friends and the wider communities. The group is always excited about assisting the ACCR with their activities including organising outreach activities, Growth Retreats and Life in the Spirit Seminar for its members.
