We give thanks and praise to God for the successful and blessed official opening service of the Samoan Nazarene Church in the Ashburton area.
Our sincere appreciation goes to all the families who have generously offered their support, prayers, and contributions toward the establishment of God's church. Your sacrifice and commitment are truly valued and appreciated.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Pio and his wife Matauaina N Pio Toelau for faithfully responding to God's call and for their willingness to serve in this new ministry. May the Lord continue to strengthen and bless them as they lead His Church and His people.
We thank God for answering the prayers of the Samoan Zone's Pastors and Wives, especially the District Superintendent and the district leadership, whose vision, encouragement, and support have helped make this day possible.

Last Saturday, the Samoan Zone held a special service for mothers. Everything was beautifully organized under the leadership of the Samoan Zone Women’s Fellowship leader, Rev. Leitu Lesatele. The service was led by Rev. Tausaga F. Faavae , and the Word of God was preached by Rev. Alofa Fetalai. The presentations and preparations by each fellowship were wonderful and meaningful. To God be the glory, now and forever.

At the beginning of this week, our District held a three-day retreat in Taupō for Pastors and their Spouses. This was a significant and meaningful time of spiritual renewal and encouragement, strengthening the ministers in their calling and service.
The retreat was honored by the presence of the special speaker, the FSC, Rev Satish Manmothe, along with the DS, Rev Harry from the Southern District in Australia.
Praise be to the Lord for His divine guidance and gracious provision. To God be all the glory, now and forevermore.

On Good Friday this year, the Samoan Zone held a Youth Rally in Ōtara, led by Pastor Mativa N Grace Lauina, with the message delivered by Pastor Ieremia Lemi Taisi.
On Sunday, the Samoan Zone Combine was held to celebrate the victorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The service was led by Pastor Kalavini Crichton, The offering and the welcome were conducted by Rev Faafofola Tanielu, the sermon was delivered by Rev Fineaso Faavae.
Holy Communion was observed by Rev Iputau and the service concluded with a Baptism conducted by Rev Iosefa Laione and Rev Filipo Lesatele The gathering ended with a lunch prepared by Pastors and Wives, to God be the Glory now and forever more.

Praise the Lord. Over the past weekend, the Samoan Zone conducted a leadership training for the NDI, NMI, and NYI ministries. Leaders were equipped with an understanding of how God has blessed the Church of the Nazarene globally, acknowledging that there is more than one approach or method of ministry. The training emphasized the importance of developing church leaders in the values and practices through which God has blessed His Church.

During last week, our district youth camp was conducted, with more than 140 youth in attendance. We give all glory and thanks to God for our District Youth Camp led by Pastor Mativa N Grace Lauina. Truly, through God’s goodness, the camp was a powerful time of refreshment, encouragement, and renewal as our youth were uplifted and refilled by the Holy Spirit 🙏🔥
Our young people are the blessing of the Church today and the hope of tomorrow.
A heartfelt thank you to our camp speakers: our District Superintendent Rev Dr Paul and his lovely wife Sowbhagya Gundugollu, and our FSC Rev Satish Manmothe, Special thanks also to our District Youth Leader Pastor Mativa and his lovely wife Grace, our field leader from Australia Agnes, and all youth leaders who attended, and everyone who served faithfully in every area—especially the kitchen team 🍽️👏
