Last Sunday, Pastor Daniel shared God’s Word from Philippians 2:1–11 in our message: “Joy through Self-Giving Love.”

In this passage, Paul calls the Philippian believers to share the same mindset of humility as Jesus. He shows that the joy and unity he has described in chapter 1 are only possible as we live in a manner worthy of the gospel, by following Jesus in the way of humility.

Paul points us to the life of Jesus as the clearest expression of humility: though He is Lord, He willingly laid everything down for the sake of others. This is the way of Christ we are called to follow, and the only foundation upon which true unity can flourish and unshakable joy can be experienced in our lives.

Join us as we continue our series in Philippians: The Joy-Full Life with Pastor Daniel. Today we’re in Philippians 2:1–11: Joy through Self-Giving Love.

Together we’ll explore what it means to live in Christ-shaped unity, sharing the same love, being of one mind, and putting others first. We’ll reflect on the humility of Jesus, who gave Himself fully for us, and how His example calls us to a life of humble, self-giving love as His people.

This Sunday we continue our series in Philippians: The Joy-Full Life with a message from Philippians 2:1-11: Joy through Self-Giving Love.

In this powerful passage, we'll reflect on Paul's call to the church to live together in unity through sharing the same love, being of one mind, and putting others first. We’ll reflect on the humility of Christ, who “made himself nothing,” taking the very nature of a servant, and how His example reshapes the way we live together as God’s people.

Join us as we discover the joy that comes through having the mindset of Christ, revealed in His humble, obedient, and self-giving love.

Last Sunday Mario Varre shared a powerful message from Luke 15:11-32 on the parable of the Prodigal Son.

We were challenged by Jesus' parable in a fresh light as we considered the contrasting lostness of both sons. The younger brother rebelled, yet repented and was graciously received back by his father. However, the elder brother is very convicting because he had a life of performance-driven religion, yet no intimacy with his father.
