Just a reminder of our Sunday @ St Andrew's concert being held here this Sunday. Our performers will be the Pukeleles. They were featured in last Friday's Franklin Times (cover page and page 57). Tickets are $10 per person, which includes afternoon tea. Note that no parking will be available between the church and the St Andrew's Op Shop due to the building site next door. However, there is plenty of roadside parking available.

St Andrew's Community Trust (SACT) is thrilled to continue its long involvement with FLORA FEST. Note the dates for this year's Flora Fest and Rose Show, which will be hosted by St Andrew's Centre once again.

It's coming down! Demolition has begun on the 'old op shop', to make way for a new building that will be connected to St Andrew's. It will be 'watch this space' for several months as the site is cleared and the new building rises!

Our next Sunday @ St Andrew's concert will be held at 2pm on Sunday 2 August at St Andrew's Centre Waiuku. Our guest performers will be the Pukeleles. This friendly community group started up in 2018. It is all about good music, good company and having a great time together singing and strumming their ukuleles. They meet every Tuesday to play a wide variety of songs—from old favourites and classic sing-alongs, to pop hits, folk and a few surprises along the way. They perform regularly in rest homes, at community events and sometimes at private functions. The tickets are $10 per person, bought at the door on the day. The ticket price includes afternoon tea after the concert.

Please note that due to a building project next door, the op shop parking and a few church car park spaces will be blocked off for the next few months. There will still be plenty of free roadside parking. We hope to see you here. Make sure to tell your friends and family!

We had a very successful first day of our Faith Through Art exhibition. The feedback was general amazement and admiration at the diverse creativity on display. Don't miss out. Drop on by tomorrow between 10am and 3pm. Entry is by koha, with proceeds going to Waiuku Museum for its archival projects.

Just a reminder that our art exhibition 'Faith Through Art' opens at St Andrew's Centre Waiuku on Friday 17th July at 10am. It is open till 3pm, and then is open the same hours on Saturday too. Entry is by koha, with the proceeds going to Waiuku Museum's for its archival projects. There will be more than 40 artworks on display, with a wide range of mediums used. Please come along and support this community fundraiser, and be sure to tell friends and family members too!

Wasn't it a foggy morning today! This street side view of St Andrew's Centre and the old op shop will soon look very different. Fencing will go up early next week around the old op shop building, which will be demolished to make way for a new building that will connect with the church. Exciting times ahead!
