Concert at St Michael's Remuera - From Aotearoa to London - Cất Cánh
A fundraising event for Auckland Soprano Anh Thu Nguyen at St Micheal’s Church, 6 Beatrice Road, Remuera, 7 pm Friday 14th August.
Anh sang at the Cathedral for many years and currently sings at St Michael’s. With music ranging from the opera world to musical theatre including works by Strauss, Puccini & Lowe, Anh will be joined by soprano Antonia Brightwell, Kiri te Kanawa Song Quest semi-finalist for 2026, Jack Doyle and David Kelly will be the orchestra behind the keys.
Money raised will go towards Anh’s studies at the prestigious Guildhall of Music & Drama in London.

Marriage Preparation Course
Getting married in early 2027? Don't leave your marriage preparation too late!
Our final Marriage Preparation Courses for 2026 are filling quickly. If you're planning to marry in the first part of 2027, you'll need to complete your marriage preparation this year, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your place.
Courses are offered at St Michael's Parish, Remuera on Saturdays from 26 September (9.00am–1.00pm) and at St Luke's Parish, Flat Bush on Saturdays from 10 October (10.00am–4.30pm).

John Pridmore Coming to Auckland
International Catholic speaker and evangelist John Pridmore is coming to Auckland this August for a series of inspiring parish missions.
Once involved in London's criminal underworld, John's life was dramatically transformed through an encounter with Jesus Christ. For more than 30 years, he has travelled the world sharing his powerful story of conversion, hope and God's mercy, inspiring thousands to rediscover their faith.
Each evening will include John's testimony, prayer and an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Christ through Eucharistic Adoration.
Mission Dates:
• Takapuna: 17–19 August
• Ponsonby: 24–26 August
• Manurewa: 31 August – 2 September
All sessions begin at 7:00 pm. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
