Intergenerational Healing of Family Rosary - SORROWFUL MYSTERIES (written by Fr Gustavo Amorth)
MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
THE APOSTLE'S CREED: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day He arose again; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen

OPENING PRAYER: God's Holy Spirit, divine Ruah, sweet guest of the soul, abide in me, live in me, dwell in me. Guide me during this time of prayer so that, moved by the prophetic action that Mary desires to take in our families, we can cooperate with the regeneration of mankind. Fill us with your presence Holy Spirit, so that many generations of our families will, like Mary, proclaim the wonders that the Lord has carried out among us, and keep us cooperating with the plan of God through our faith in her and in God. Amen.
The first Sorrowful Mystery – THE AGONY IN THE GARDEN
We pray for healing of the first through the fifth paternal generations.
Heavenly Father, today I stand in your presence acknowledging that you are our Father. I recognize that my family members who are alive and deceased are in need of you. I ask you to walk along my history and the history of the members of my family. Please bless those who are already alive and those who have already departed. Today I ask you to heal us with your love and your power and deliver us from all evil and all the negative conditions that have been inherited by family members of my father’s side. Say OUR FATHER...
1. Walk, Divine Pilgrim, through the 1st paternal generation, and with the light of the Holy Spirit deliver us from all anger, pride and lust. I ask you Holy Spirit to banish all negativity inherited in the first generation. Say HAIL MARY…
2. Heal Father, the 2nd paternal generation. I ask, in the name of Jesus, and His authority, to release us from any negative condition that influences our lives, especially feelings produced by fear and lack of paternal love. I ask to cut all dislike or distrust that proceeds from the second generation. Say HAIL MARY...
3. In the 3rd paternal generation, in the name of Jesus, I reject any racial hatred and any form of marginalization that has harmed any member of my family or people close to us. Say HAIL MARY…
4. I invoke the power of your Precious Blood to wash us and cleanse us. Deliver us from any spirit of hatred that has caused harm so that we may be free of any of its effects. Say HAIL MARY…
5. Lord Jesus, bless the 4th paternal generation, and with your light heal us of the effects of any injustice. Say HAIL MARY…
6. Lord Jesus, deliver us from the consequences of religious fanaticism and cut the ties between past and present generations, especially anything that might be preventing me and my family from receiving greater blessings. Say HAIL MARY…
7. Loving Father in the 5th paternal generation, in the name of your Son Jesus, we pray, heal us from any form of aggression, murder and violence that occurred between our ancestors so that it no longer has any influence in our lives or the lives of our future generations. Say HAIL MARY…
8. Thank you, Lord, for your Precious Blood is flowing in all areas of our being and is clearing the first five paternal generations. Say HAIL MARY…
9. I ask you Virgin Mary, Our Mother, to make yourself present in accepting the forgiveness that comes from all the women who were abused, cruelly treated, injured, and were not given love in anyway by any of the men of paternal generations. Say HAIL MARY…
10. Also, Lord Jesus, we pray to the Father in your Name, for the injured children who have suffered from the negative conditions of these five paternal generations. Say HAIL MARY…

The second Sorrowful Mystery – THE SCOURGING AT THE PILLAR
We pray for healing of the sixth through the tenth paternal generations.
Lord, held by your hand we walk along with you as you intercede for all generations, knowing that for you there is no time. You are eternally present in each of the 5 next generations, which we deliver to you by the purest hands of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. Say OUR FATHER...
1. In the 6th paternal generation, dear Jesus, and on behalf of our families, we oppose any expression of cruelty, and we pray that with your love and the power of your Holy Name every manifestation of self-hatred be banished.
2. In the 7th paternal generation, we ask you Lord to touch those who were victims of people who could not love, did not learn to love and could not share their love. We ask that you give your love to these victims. Deliver us from any spirit of indifference, and any lack of tenderness or affection that was transmitted to these paternal generations. Heal us in the Holy Name of Jesus. Say HAIL MARY…
3. In the 8th paternal generation, we ask you Lord, to place in our hearts and the hearts of our family the desire to serve and follow you, through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the light of Jesus. Say HAIL MARY…
4. We condemn any blasphemy and hatred of God or the members of His Church that has existed in our family, and we ask that any spirit that keeps us from a deep communion with you and full inclusion in the Catholic Church be removed in your Holy Name, Jesus. Say HAIL MARY…
5. Lord, shine your light in the 9th paternal generation. Cleanse us, purify us and make us free with the flowing of your Precious Blood. On behalf of ourselves, our ancestors and contemporary relatives, we forgive all those who have hurt us. Say HAIL MARY…
6. We also ask that you bring forgiveness and deliverance to our families, for all those who have been injured by our ancestors and have offended you. We ask your forgiveness, Lord, for whatever they have done against you. We ask that all of them be received into a perfect life full of love in your presence. Say HAIL MARY…
7. In the 10th paternal generation, we ask you to pour out your mercy, and free us and our family from the consequences of abortions and murders. Say HAIL MARY…
8. We also ask you, Lord, to deliver us from the spirit of death and suffering in our family. Say HAIL MARY…

10. With the sword of the Holy Spirit, cut negative communication channels and bind them, Lord, with Thy Precious Blood. May the waters of baptism remove everything that is negative. Thank you, Lord, for freeing the captives. Say HAIL MARY…

The third Sorrowful Mystery – THE CROWNING OF THORNS
We pray for healing of the eleventh through the fifteenth paternal generations.
Lord Jesus, you know all those ancestors whom we have not met and for whom today we pray this Holy Rosary. Keep going back in time and grant eternal rest to those who have not yet attained it. Say OUR FATHER...
1. In the eleventh paternal generation, we ask you Lord to heal those who have experienced problems due to emigration or the destruction of their environment. Free those enslaved by greed. Say HAIL MARY…
2. Heal the consequences inherited by all those suffering due to violent conflicts, especially those who were injured or killed in wars. Wash them with your Holy Blood, Lord and give freedom to captives. Say HAIL MARY…
3. In the 12th paternal generation, we ask you Lord, to touch and heal those who suffered from sexual or emotional disorders. Say HAIL MARY…
4. We ask to be illuminated by the light of your Holy Spirit, to be filled with your love and free of any negative influence. Say HAIL MARY…
5. In the 13th paternal generation we ask you Lord, to let flow the power of your conjugal love for the Church, so that its strength frees us from the hatred and the violence that may have existed in some of our families’ marriages. Say HAIL MARY…
6. We ask you, Lord, to deliver us from the evil desires and evil intentions, from the chains of infidelity, from being abandoned by our families, and from physical or psychological domestic violence. We place all this under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Say HAIL MARY…
7. In the 14th paternal generation, and by the authority of your Holy Name, Jesus, we beg you to deliver us from all hopelessness and despair that may exist in our family, and we banish these by the power of your Precious Blood. Say HAIL MARY…
8. In the 15th paternal generation, and in your Name Jesus, we reject all superstition and idolatry that has polluted our family. Say HAIL MARY…
9. We renounce, on behalf of our entire family, dead and alive, all quackery, the occult, superstitions, spells, witchcraft, séances, fetishism, New Age practices, and all forms of curses. Lord, purify, heal, and free me and my family from any harm. Say HAIL MARY…
10. Thank you, Lord, for the healing of the fifteen paternal generations. From now on, I will be able to more powerfully feel all the blessings and graces that you have always wanted for my family. Say HAIL MARY…

We pray for the first 5 maternal generations, asking for the Lord’s grace to flow in them, through the intercession of Mary, bringing healing and deliverance.
Lord Jesus, we thank you for what you have done so far, and we ask you now to walk through the maternal generations. Mary, our Mother, we ask for your special protection, stay with us and keep us close to you. Say OUR FATHER...
1. Lord Jesus in the 1st maternal generation, we walk in your light asking for the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit. We ask for the deliverance from the curse or marital unhappiness that hinders happy marriages in our families and makes it impossible for marriages and priestly and religious vocations to be realized. We ask that all negative influences fall under the power of the Holy Spirit and be banished, through all generations. Say HAIL MARY…
2. Dear Father, in the 2nd maternal generation, we ask that all sorrow, pain and negative consequences produced by the loss of children, painful births, unwanted pregnancies and unwelcome children disappear under the power of the Holy Spirit, and be healed in the name of your Son, Jesus. 3. In the 3rd maternal generation, we pray Lord, through the power of the Holy Spirit, that all curses, blasphemies and bitterness toward you be rejected. We ask that the waters of the Sacrament of Baptism we have received cleanse and purify the third maternal generations and all generations. Say HAIL MARY…
4. In the 4th maternal generation, we cry unto you, O Lord, asking for healing and deliverance of all the negative consequences as a result of abuse, r**e, indecent exposure or sexual assault. May our hearts be filled immensely with your light, love, healing, forgiveness and peace. Thank you, Lord, for banishing these negative conditions. Say HAIL MARY…
5. Today we ask you, Lord, to bind all spirit of bitterness and resentment, and in the name of Jesus, we command all spirits of rejection to be tied and go to the foot of the Cross of our Lord. Say HAIL MARY…
6. In the 5th maternal generation, we submit to you, Lord, all the aches and pains of women in our family. Say HAIL MARY…
7. Lord, we especially pray for those who suffered through forced marriages, victims of human trafficking, all forms of slavery, and anything excessively unfair. Say HAIL MARY…
8. Lord, today we ask you to heal any lack of love as we ask for forgiveness from those who have been hurt, all the while, forgiving ancestors, those who were unjust aggressors. Say HAIL MARY…
9. We thank you, Lord, for the healing of the first five maternal generations. Let the light of the Holy Spirit cleanse, purify and perfect our well-being. Say HAIL MARY…
10. We thank you, Virgin Mary, for being present to touch the hearts of those women who were so hurt. Say HAIL MARY…

The fifth Sorrowful Mystery – THE CRUCIFIXION
Let us now pray, surrendering to God, the 6th to the 15th maternal generations.
We thank you, Lord, because your love renews the hearts of women in our families and continues blessing future generations. Thank you, Blessed Virgin Mary, for with your motherly and feminine love, you restore the dignity lost by women in our family. Say OUR FATHER...
1. In the 6th maternal generation, Lord, we ask you to heal the lack of love for girls, especially by fathers or mothers who were looking for sons. Caress and release all pain, feelings of rejection, and low self-esteem caused in women. Thank you, Lord, for opposing this now with the Holy Spirit. Say HAIL MARY…
2. In the 7th maternal generation, we pray. Lord, for your Spirit to flow, healing and perfecting those who experienced being left out, those who felt they were unwanted or unneeded and who lived and died with that feeling, passing it on to future generations. Say HAIL MARY…
3. In the 8th maternal generation, we pray, Lord, especially for healing for those who were victims of deformities or sexual or social stigma for which they were rejected by society. We pray for the healing who experienced broken hearts and who never recovered from such traumatic experiences. Thank you, Lord, because you seal us with your precious blood and protect us from pain and grief. Say HAIL MARY…
4. In the 9th maternal generation, we ask you, Jesus, by the sword of the Holy Spirit, to cut the ropes of generational angst and inherited diseases. We also pray for those who suffered illnesses and died in agony. In the name of Jesus and by the power of the Sacrament of Baptism, I pray to Thee to be purified of all of this. Say HAIL MARY…
5. Lord in the 10th maternal generation, we pray for those ancestors who committed injustices or were victims of them. We ask that you cut the strings of failure and economic ruin that were passed onto our family from generation to generation, also that you forgive the scams, the waste of goods, and banish all forms of financial misfortune. 6. In the 11th maternal generation, we forgive, Lord, on behalf of our ancestors, all those who were unjust, unloving, and who stripped our ancestors of joy, causing much pain and grief. Say HAIL MARY…
7. Lord, in the 12th maternal generation, block, cut and destroy all negative conditions handed down by our ancestors, especially the spirit of wanting to control the lives of children or other people, and allow only the blessings and good qualities inherited from our ancestors to flow. We pray for those who died without being loved, for those who were not buried, for those who were not mourned or did not receive funeral masses or adequate Christian burials. We commend them to your love and ask you to take them to your light. Say HAIL MARY…
8. In the 13th maternal generation, we thank you, Lord, for healing those who suffered the rigours of life, such as lack of essential goods for a decent life and dire poverty, also those who suffered under extreme weather conditions, like bitter cold and blistering heat, and who were victims of natural disasters. 9. In the 14th maternal generation, we ask you, Lord, to heal crippling pain and suffering. Touch those with any form of disease and physical or psychological pain and that has been transmitted from past generations. Say HAIL MARY…
10. In the 15th maternal generation, we ask you, Lord, for our families to be illuminated by your light and your love. Lord, we pray for those who have lost or are lacking in faith, hope and Christian charity. Say HAIL MARY…

CLOSING PRAYER - Let us pray, O God, whose Only Begotten Son, by His Life, Death, and Resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech thee, that while meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. PRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH
O St Joseph whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that, having engaged here below your heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the loving of Fathers.
O St Joseph I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart. Press him to my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St Jospeh, patron of departing soul, pray for us. Amen.
PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
St Michael the archangel, defend us in the hour of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell, satan and all the other evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to Thy protection, implored Thy help or sought Thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto Thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother; to Thee do we come, before Thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful; O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy clemency hear and answer me.
