As we celebrate Matariki, we'd love you to join us for a special morning of worship, music, prayer, and fellowship.

Matariki is a season to pause, remember, give thanks, and look ahead with hope. This Sunday we'll reflect on the story of Ruth and explore the message "When God is Silent"—a reminder that even in life's quieter seasons, God is still at work.

We'll also enjoy singing together as we celebrate God's faithfulness and the beginning of a new season.

❤️ A Place to Belong ❤️

Church is so much more than a building.

It's a place where people from different backgrounds become family.

A place where children grow in faith, friendships are formed, prayers are shared, and lives are transformed through God's love.

Last Sunday, we celebrated new beginnings as we welcomed new members into our church family and celebrated a baptism—a beautiful reminder that there is always room for one more at God's table. ✨

Together, we worship.
Together, we learn.
Together, we care for one another.
Together, we share God's love with our community.

We'd love to welcome you...

You're Invited This Sunday!

There are moments in life when we all feel the tension between who we are and who we hope to become.

This Sunday at St Heliers Church, we continue our journey through Paul's letter to the Romans as we explore "The Inner Conflict"—a message that reminds us God's grace meets us in our struggles and invites us into freedom, hope and new life.

It will also be a very special morning as we:
💙 Welcome new members into our church family
💧 Celebrate the baptism of a church member
🙏 Worship together through music, prayer and Scripture

"Slaves of God?"

Through worship, prayer, music and Scripture, we'll reflect on how God's grace transforms our lives and what it means to live with purpose, hope and freedom in Christ.

One of the joys of Sunday worship is lifting our voices together in song and being reminded of God's presence among us.

May we continue to walk in the light this week.

Sunday Worship – Everyone Welcome

Join us this Sunday for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost as we gather for worship, music, prayer, and reflection.

This week's theme is:

Alive to God in Christ Jesus

Drawing on Romans 6:1–11, we will explore what it means to live a renewed life shaped by hope, grace, and the transforming love of Christ.

We will also be marking Disability Awareness Sunday, giving thanks for the diverse gifts within our community and reflecting on how we can become a more inclusive and welcoming church for all.
