What a powerful weekend we had!

Thank you to Alex Tuiasosopo for such a powerful and timely word for our young people. Reigniting the fire! He is the God of “RE” restoration, revival, renewal, and redemption! 🔥

Also would like to acknowledge Tamā ia Rev Vaa Tuia (Bread of Life AOG Manurewa) and Ps Apoua Mataafa (Faith by Hearing Ministries Glen Eden) for supporting our youth night. Your love, presence, and support mean so much.

We are currently in Papua New Guinea teaching at XNBC PNG for two weeks, and this first week we are teaching on Grace 101.

A few days ago, earlier in the day the electricity went out something that happens here almost daily. Businesses, schools, hospitals, homes… almost everywhere has generators because it’s simply part of life here. Nobody complains. They’ve learned to live with interruptions.

Late that night around 11:30pm, the generator was turned off. I suddenly realised my laptop and devices were all low battery, and the wifi was off - yet I still needed hours to finish preparing my notes.

And in that moment, the Lord spoke to me.

No matter how advanced the device was…No matter how expensive or powerful…Without power, it became almost useless.

Immediately I saw the picture of humanity.

Many believers today still look fine externally: gifted, talented, knowledgeable, even active in ministry but internally they are disconnected from the true source of power.

Grace is not just forgiveness.
Grace is the sustaining power of God flowing into human weakness.
What electricity is to a device, grace is to the believer.

A device was never designed to generate its own power. It was designed to stay connected to a source.

Neither were we 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Christian life was never meant to operate on “low power mode,” surviving off past encounters, routines, or human strength. Jesus called us to abide in Him.

Tonight in the darkness of a mission house in PNG, God reminded me
that the most dangerous thing is not losing activity. it is losing connection.

Because without power, even the most advanced vessel becomes powerless.
