Well, the cyclone doesn’t appear to be a problem at this point. According to the reports, we can probably expect the wind to pick up through the day, but I think we will be fine to continue to have church. After all, didn’t Jesus teach us not to fear the storms? 😊 Church will continue as usual. If we lose power during the service, I’m sure we will be able to manage. Please drive carefully.

Lord, we pray for your protection over all our congregation this morning. Go before us and behind us, above us and underneath us, as we travel the wet roads. Keep our electricity connected, but even if it fails, the power of your Spirit never fails—so let our light shine brightly. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, we pray. Amen.

Well looks like we have a cyclone heading our way. If the weather becomes too bad to risk travel then we may need to cancel Sunday morning services . If we lose power at the church building we also lose water as we are on tank water there. So we will just keep an eye on things and we will try to make a call early on Sunday morning. I’ll post a message on our prayer group WhatsApp as well as here on our page but just make sure that we have confirmed that we will be meeting at the church before you go.
