Assalamu Alaikum, Alhamdulillah with great delight we want to update the community that we have now completed the purchase/settlement of Blenheim Masjid and Community Centre. Jazakallah Khair to all individuals and organisations for the huge support in making it possible. May Allah SWT shower His immense blessing upon you all, aameen. It was made possible by raising donations and loans, therefore we will continue the fundraising to pay off the loans. If you have made donations via bank or website then please contact us via email [email protected] or message on 0223208861 with donation details so that we could issue you a tax-credit receipt.

Alhamdulillah, it is also to announce that we are organising an opening of Blenheim Masjid and Community Centre tomorrow i.e. Friday 1st April 2022 at Jummah Salah, Inshallah. If possible then please join us in the opening.

FIANZ - PRESS RELEASE ON TODAY'S TERRORISM

The events today have resurrected the trauma that we all felt two years ago. Terrorists who do such inhumane and vile acts do not belong to any religion, said Ibrar Sheikh, President of FIANZ. We condemn this act of terror. They act out of sheer hate, and they have no place in our country. Our first thoughts and prayers are for the victims and their families.

We sympathise with their trauma and that of the bystanders who witnessed the evil act of terror. We thank the NZ Police for their bravery and all the work they are doing to keep us safe. The first responders, including the medical and ambulance staff have our deepest admiration. At this time, we again repeat our sense of sorrow for those who are in hospital and the others who are suffering from trauma. We pray for their wellbeing, said Ibrar Sheikh.

Therefore tomorrow will be 30th of Sha'ban and Saturday (i.e. 25th April 2020) will be 1st of Ramadan 1441H Inshallah. May Allah SWT give us all towfeeq to reap the benefits of this esteem month, aameen. Ramadan Mubarak!
