Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit!
With great joy, we announce the blessed Installation Ceremony of His Grace Ishow Mor Dionysius as the first Bishop of the Kohalpur Diocese. He was consecrated to the sacred episcopacy on 12 June 2026.
The day began with the Holy Divine Liturgy, celebrated according to the Eastern Orthodox tradition. Following the Liturgy, the installation ceremony was held with prayer and solemnity.
We were blessed by the presence of our chief guest, His Eminence Joshua Mor Barnabas Episcopa, Synod Secretary of the Believers Eastern Church Headquarters. We also welcomed our honored guest, His Eminence Titus Mor Osthathios, Archbishop of the Kathmandu Archdiocese.
Over 250 faithful gathered senior priests, clergy, deacons, evangelists from several districts, school principals and staff, H.F.C. coordinators and staffs, and many believers.
During the ceremony, representatives offered words of welcome and prayerful wishes senior priests, school principals, H.F.C. leaders, and members of the faithful. Their presence showed that this ceremony was not only His Grace’s achievement, but a blessing and fortune for the entire Kohalpur Diocese.
The ceremony concluded with the closing prayer and Apostolic Benediction given by the newly consecrated Bishop of Kohalpur Diocese, His Grace Ishow Mor Dionysius.
By the grace of God, the entire program was completed peacefully and prayerfully. We humbly ask for your prayers for His Grace as he begins his episcopal ministry in Kohalpur.
