“हामीहरू अझै पापी जीवन जिउँदा-जिउँदै पनि ख्रीष्ट हाम्रो निम्ति मर्नु भयो। यस प्रकारले परमेश्वरले आफ्नो प्रेम हामीलाई देखाउनु भयो।”

आजको दिनले हामीलाई परमेश्वरको असीम प्रेमको सम्झना गराउँछ। हामी धर्मी वा योग्य हुँदा होइन, तर अझै पापमा रहेको अवस्थामा पनि ख्रीष्टले हाम्रो लागि आफ्नो जीवन दिनुभयो। यो नै साँचो प्रेम हो—निस्वार्थ, बलिदानी र अनन्त।

यस पदले हामीलाई सिकाउँछ कि परमेश्वरले हामीलाई हाम्रो अवस्थाको कारण होइन, तर आफ्नो प्रेमको कारण प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ। ख्रीष्टको क्रूसको बलिदानले हामीलाई नयाँ जीवन, आशा र उद्धार प्रदान गरेको छ।
