New Student Welcome Program 2026
Every year, many students leave their hometowns and come to Kathmandu for higher education, and many of them also begin connecting with a local church.
This year, God has entrusted 19 new students to our care, coming from both secular and theological studies. We are grateful that our youth had the opportunity to welcome them into our church family.
We had a wonderful evening filled with singing, dancing, skits, games, testimonies, fellowship, and a meaningful message.
We also talked about the real challenges students face when they are away from home—how easy it can be to feel lost in a big city like Kathmandu without being connected to a caring community, and how important it is to belong to a healthy local church and supportive group.
Most importantly, we encouraged them to see their time in the city as more than just an opportunity to study. God has also placed them here to grow in their faith, serve others, influence their friends, live missionally, and make disciples while pursuing their education.
We are thankful for these young people God has brought among us and excited to see how He will work in and through them.
