Historical Background
In 1992 on the month of September, Philadelphia Church was established by Pastor Min Raj Dulal and his co-workers. Pastor Min Raj took initiative on it and planned to establish a church. They looked for a suitable place where they could establish own church through continuous prayer. God showed them a suitable place at Kanibal, Lalitpur where they started their regular fellowship.
When the fellowship was started, there were few believers and they prayed continuously for church growth. God Heard their prayer and more people began to attain the fellowship. The first believers were local people who used to live nearby. They were brother Phadendra and Bina Sanjel and some of them were factory workers. So with the few numbers of believers, they continued to do regular fellowships, evangelized local people and new believers added up onto the ministry.
After some years, Pastor took a bold step with prayer to build a church on their own land. Despite of all the financial problems and local oppositions, they were able to built it at Nakkhudole, Lalitpur. They believed that in front of God and his plan, nothing can bear or come over it. There is no other power to stop GodтАЩs work in this whole world.These days, they have been doing regular fellowships and heading towards church maturity day-by-day.
