The Bible makes it abundantly clear that God created man, and that He created him for His glory (Isaiah 43:7). Therefore, the ultimate purpose of man, according to the Bible, is simply to glorify God.

How then do we Glorify God? Jesus shows us the answer in John 17:4-7 as He reveals how He lived His life as a man, the very purpose of His being. It says;

4 I have glorified You on the earth.
I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said:
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire,
But a body You have prepared for Me.
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin
You had no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—
In the volume of the book it is written of Me—
To do Your will, O God.’”

Jesus is the epitome for our likeness. Therefore this should be at the very heart of our being! The main purpose for us being saved. For we should no longer live our life for our own. Even our body now belongs to Jesus and being a follower of Jesus, we are to do as He did. When you really think about, when you seek the Word of God and search your soul praying to see things through the eyes of God, you'll know and understand that God has put you in this His chosen moment of time in history, not by accident but that He appointed you to be at the right place, the right time, on the exact moment for your being in a certain place, because you are there to be His ambassador, His shining beacon of Light in darkness, to be the Salt that would perk-up the flavor to wake up the senses, providing the main difference to do His Will that would make an eternal impact to the very lives in your sphere of influence. And not only could it change others forever, but it also to change you to be His loving and effective servant.

PRAYER
Father we thank You for this time. A time when we are able to learn to grow deeper in knowing You, to better understand Your heart and Your purpose for our life. Forgive us for our sins and for our tendency to take the beauty of Thy Word for granted as we read Thy scriptures. Help us never to miss-out on the basic but very important teachings hidden in Your Word. Help us to savor sweetly and completely each delicate part of Your Word, for these basic things makes up the very foundation of our faith in You. Please give us the eyes to see and ears to hear Thy Word clearly. Holy Spirit, we humbly ask the You may fill our soul by clearly speaking unto our heart and mind, etching Thy Words unto our hearts that we may live it, savor and digest it, rejoice in it, so we may be able to "Do Your Will O God" and glorify Thee. We lovingly ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

Blessed be God forever!

How to start your day!

Always start with God first, and then everything that follows will fall into it's proper place. Starting with God first sets the tone of our day. Remember how Jesus starts His day very early in the morning in prayer. He goes to His secret place of worship to pray to the Father before His regular day starts. This is the example our Lord taught us because He knows that our enemy will be attacking us to keep us off balanced and separate us from God by overwhelming us with his tricks. That is why we should always start our day with God first in prayer. When we do, our faith is deepened and our personal relationship with God is strengthened because our prayer binds us to Jesus. And as we go through your day, remember to pray without ceasing!

PRAYER
Teach us to be wise oh God, hearken our hearts to listen unto Thy bidding. Help us to start our day in You. Putting You and Your concerns first in prayer so that our heart is focused on You to lead our day. Protect us from the attacks of our enemies and not to lean on our own understanding, but undoubtedly surrender our life unto Thy control, that we may live an extraordinary” life in Christ as a fragrant offering to honor Thee. Thy Will be done, dear God our Father in Heaven. By Thy Spirit and in Jesus name we humbly ask and pray! Amen!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly God our Father, may Thy name be Proclaimed and Hollowed by all creation to the ends of universe. There is nothing that exist that is not under Thy control or anything that is unknown to You. You are the one and only true God, the very reason for all being and creation. We thank You for revealing Yourself unto us and for Thy unfailing & immeasurable love, for Thy kindness, patience, faithfulness, and grace, and for pursuing us unto Thy salvation by the completed work of Thy one and only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

God thank You for hearing our prayers, for allowing us to be able to approach Thy throne at any moment to enter unto Thy rest, to hear You and speak to You about the deep matters of our heart. It is awesome to know that nothing can ever surprise You and that You have already planned ahead for our good. Help us not to lean on our own (limited) understanding, but to seek Your heart always, more and more this new year.

Intervene for us and fill our needs or whatever we are lacking. We humbly ask for the blessing of good health this year, and protect us from the wiles of our enemy. Help us to remember that we are always in Thy presence, for Thy Holy Spirit lives in our heart and that You will never abandon us. Surround us with Thy legions of angels to protect us. Pave out new pathways before us and thank You for covering us from behind.

Thank You for the New Year and the fresh hope each new day will bring. For giving us a fresh start and renewed purpose in life. Help us to hear Your voice always and enable us, that we may faithfully accomplish the task You set fort in our heart to accomplish this year. There is so much work to be done and so little time until Your return. Help us to realize the urgency of these things and be ready and busy for Thy return. Empty of our selfish desires that we may become Thy faithful and effective servant, profitable for Thy kingdom and purpose that brings honor and glory unto Thy Name. We love You LORD. Help us to live a life worthy of Thy calling!

As the fireworks thunder and the peoples of the world welcome the new year, we welcome You into our hearts and life and give You praise! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Almighty God and Father... And Worthy is the Lamb who was offered for our Salvation!

We look to You today, this new year, and every day until Thy return. In Jesus Christ Name we ask and pray, Amen!

LET THERE BE LIGHT (Genesis 1:3)
God brings light into darkness. That is a recurring theme throughout the Bible, and it begins here. In this verse, the spoken words of God create physical light to brighten a dark world. The New Testament records God sending his Son, Jesus, to be the light of the world (Jn 1:1–14). And Paul wrote to the church in Corinth that salvation occurs when God commands the light of His own glory “displayed in the face of Christ” to shine on the darkness of sinful hearts (2Co 4:6). Light represents the glory and salvation of God as it is expressed in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the exact representation of God, and he revealed God to a world sitting in darkness.

Those who trust in Jesus are brought from the darkness of sin into God’s light—where there is joy, peace, and hope forever. In the end, there will be no more darkness, and the light of God’s glory will shine brightly in God’s eternal kingdom (Rev 21:23).

Imitators of God:

** "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 ESV"

** "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written, “He has distributed freely, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:8-11 ESV"

** "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5 ESV"

** "Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in His ways! You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! ...Psalm 119:1-176 ESV"

** "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1 ESV"

Be on fire for God! Let your light shine so strongly that it may draw people unto God and that you may direct their paths unto Him. Do not pass this life without making a significant impact for the Honor and Glory of our LORD God that your life would be counted as God's significant follower and love. We only have one life to live! Now is the time and opportunity to make your imprint in the History of the Kingdom of God.

Have a blessed day! with love in Christ, Samuel

You will NEVER know the right things about God or religion if you have no real mastery of the Bible. The wisdom of men opposes God's wisdom.
You will NEVER get enough of the Word of God merely by going to Church. You HAVE to study God's Word intensely for yourself to be approved.

- Listening in Prayer

"God is in Heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few."

God made King Solomon the wisest among all man and in Ecclesiastes 5:2 above he teaches us why we should make listening to a priority when praying. Ever get so carried away talking to God that you realize you didn’t spend any time listening to Him? Yes, your heavenly Father wants to hear from you. He desires you to be open and honest with Him.

He cares about your hurts and disappointments, even your disappointments in Him. You can spill your heart to Him. Yet heeding Solomon’s words is wise. Solomon reminds us that we should make listening to a priority. God longs to hear from us (2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 88:2; Luke 18:1), but He also wants us to hear from Him (2 Timothy 3:16–17).

We have the privilege of prayer only because He grants us access, so we should not approach Him with hollow words, frivolous or rote prayers, or promises made lightly. Prayer binds us to Jesus. It’s a relationship, an honest one. In prayer, we learn to trust Him, share with Him, and lament in times of sorrow and confusion. When we are listening, prayer reminds us of His goodness...

Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but undoubtedly surrender our life unto Thy control, that we may live an extraordinary” life in Christ as a fragrant offering to honor Thee. Two Baskets Of Figs
- - -
The LORD showed Jeremiah a vision of two baskets of figs sitting in front of the Temple after Nebuchadnezzar began taking Judah away to Babylon. One basket contained good figs, symbolizing Jews who cooperated with their captors. God promised to bring them again to Jerusalem after the captivity was over. God called the other basket “naughty” figs - evil because they resisted His punishment. He utterly condemned them. Don't resist God.
