Today, Saturday, October 3, 2026, the students of Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastic Institute, including those from the Higher, Secondary, and Primary levels, successfully completed their second midterm examination of the year 2026.

On this occasion, the Manang Welfare Society kindly offered delicious vegetarian momos for lunch to all the monks. We are deeply grateful for their generosity and kind support. We sincerely pray and wish that all our sponsors and well-wishers enjoy excellent health, happiness, and well-being. May all your heartfelt wishes and aspirations be fulfilled.

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐢 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭

Following the devastating floods and landslides in Nepal, many families are still struggling after losing their homes, loved ones, and basic necessities.

On behalf of Rinchen Palri Monastery and our generous donors, we have prepared and delivered more then 500 blankets, instant noodles, and other essential supplies to people affected by the disaster in Trishuli Area. These relief supplies are intended to support affected families as they begin rebuilding their daily lives during this difficult time.

We are deeply grateful to all our generous supporters and volunteers whose kindness, compassion, and efforts made this relief initiative possible.

Today On September 12, 2026, the Sangha community of Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastery undertook a Ceremonial Stroll in the Open Fields to cultivate detachment from their residence. On this occasion, they performed the three daily practices, the grand Torma Offering, smoke offerings, golden libations, the recitation of the Drigung Kagyu Lineage Supplication, and extensive dedication prayers.

Afterward, the students engaged in Dharma debates and offered auspicious verses. Two Shedra students, Konchok Tsewang and Tenzin Gonpo, were appointed as Kyörpon (rehearsal teachers), and the entire Sangha gathered to offer khatags to congratulate them. With this, the 2026 Summer Retreat was brought to a successful and auspicious conclusion.

ཕྱི་ཟླ་ ༠༩ ཚེས་ ༡༡ སྔ་དྲོར། དབྱར་གནས་པའི་དགེ་སློང་དང་དགེ་ཚུལ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དབྱར་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་ནང་དུ་ཚུལ་བཞིན་མ་གྱུར་པའི་ཐུགས་དང་འགལ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་བཟོད་པར་གསོལ་བ་དང་། དགག་དབྱེའི་ཆོ་ག་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་དགག་དབྱེ་མཛད་གནང་ཡོད།

The Sangha community of Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastery observed the Summer Retreat for one and a half months. On September 10, 2026, the students engaged in a discussion on topics from the Prajnaparamita Sutra.

In the evening, under the guidance of Venerable Khenpo Thubten Yeshe, profound Dharma teachings were bestowed from The Sutra of the Wise and the Foolish, authored by Lord Buddha Shakyamuni. Following this, the students actively participated in Dharma speeches and debates, which concluded with a harmonious gathering and the offering of profound clouds of auspicious words and prayers.

On the morning of September 11, the novice monks and fully ordained monks who had observed the Summer Retreat performed the traditional Confession Ceremony, sincerely requesting forgiveness for all transgressions and lapses in discipline that may have occurred within the Sangha community. This was followed by the formal Ceremony for the Releasing of the Summer Retreat Rules for the year 2026.

From September 7th to 9th, 2026, students of the Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastic Institute—including those in the secondary and primary classes—participated in the 21st Rinchen Rigpe Gyan Quiz Contest at the Drigung Kagyu Rinchen Palri Monastery in Nepal.

༈ མཁན་སློབ་དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པ་ཡོངས་དབུ་བཞུགས་ཐོག སྤྱི་ལོ་ ༢༠༢༦ ལོའི་དབྱར་གནས་སྐབས་ཀྱི་དཔྱད་རྩོམ་བགྲོ་གླེང་རྣམས། མཐོ་རིམ་དང་། འབྲིང་རིམ་གྱི་སློབ་གཉེར་བ་ཡོངས་ནས་བགྲོ་གླེང་ལྷུག་པོ་གནང་ནས་འཇུག་ལེགས་པར་གྲུབ་ཡོད།

The summer retreat research paper seminars on Buddhist Philosophy were successfully concluded after active and open discussions by all Thorim (higher level) and intermediate students, presided over by the Khenpos, Lopons, and the monastic faculty.

His Eminence Khentrul Konchok Tenzin Rinpoche returned to Rinchen Palri Monastery today following the successful completion of his Dharma activities in Ladakh this year.

The Khenpos, Tulkus, Lopons, and the entire Sangha warmly welcomed him with heartfelt devotion, offering a Mandala and sacred representations of the enlightened Body, Speech, and Mind.
