Its not generated from Shopping Market, the Name is Generated from the Lord Bhat & Bhateni - the goddess itself with lots of Ta**ra Vidhya. Local tradition worship Bhat-Bhateni as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Devi Laxmi. Bhat-Bhateni Godess also known as Mopata Ajima in Nepal Bhasa which means - Mamata Ajima - Sky Godess as Aakash Devi (as Goddess is placed in between cloud and ground in the middle of nowhere) - flying dieties also known as Nepali Devi. Bhat-Bhateni Temple follows an ancient pagoda architectural style which hold significant cultural heritage values in the Kathmandu valley which is situated in between Tangal & Baluwatar and area named as Bhat-Bhateni Marga
