What does it take to live a truly meaningful life?

Je Tsongkhapa — one of Tibet's greatest masters — distilled the entire Buddhist path into three essential qualities of mind: the determination to be free, the heart that wants to help all beings, and the wisdom that sees things as they truly are.

This weekend, we explore all three — together.

Whether you're new to Buddhism or have been practicing for years, these teachings offer a rare opportunity to engage with them in depth, in a supportive community, with time to sit, reflect, and let them land.

What does it truly mean to take refuge? Last Wednesday, we had the honor of welcoming Ven. Tenzin Tsultrim for a deeply inspiring afternoon on Faith: The Wellspring of Refuge & Devotion.
She guided us through one of the most fundamental questions in Buddhist practice — how refuge protects us from fear, and what it really asks of us. At the heart of it all: faith. Not blind faith, but the kind that is steady and unshakeable — the kind that nourishes our refuge and sustains our devotion through the ups and downs of life.
With warmth, clarity, and a wealth of lived experience, Ven. Tsultrim reminded us that faith is not just the beginning of the path — it is the pillar that holds everything else up.
So grateful for this beautiful evening together. 🙏

Faith: The Wellspring of Refuge & Devotion
with Ven Tenzin Tsultrim

It is said that taking Refuge gives protection from all fears. What does refuge really mean and how does the Buddha grant refuge?

Having taken refuge, how then do we sustain it throughout life?

The first step towards refuge is faith, but how does one find the faith that is strong and unshakeable?

Join us to find out more about Buddhist refuge and the important role of faith in holding and nourishing that refuge, and beyond that, as a pillar that supports continuous devotion and practice.

Last Saturday was a truly special gathering. 🙏

We came together to receive teachings from Geshe Tenzin Zopa on the 37 Practices of the Bodhisattvas — a profound text by the great Bodhisattva Togmay Sangpo, who condensed the entire path to enlightenment into practices we can live by, each and every day.

Geshe-la reminded us that we don't come together simply to learn — we come to extract wisdom as mindfood, to let it change us from the inside, so that we may in turn be of greater benefit to those around us.

"To change the world does not mean changing the external world. It means changing your inner world — your own mind. Only then can you influence and transform the minds of others."

These teachings are a living lineage, carried from the great Tibetan yogis to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to our own Gurus, and now to us. What a gift to receive them together as a Sangha. 🪷

Deep gratitude to everyone who joined us. May the merit of this gathering benefit all sentient beings. 🙏

How to Be the Change — A Bodhisattva's Guide
with Geshe Tenzin Zopa

"Our coming together with the right motivation can change the world —not the external world, but your inner world, your own mind."

Based on the timeless text by Togmay Sangpo — a great Bodhisattva who realised these practices and condensed them for everyday life — this course offers a direct path from where you are now, all the way to full enlightenment.

The 37 Practices are indispensable at every stage of the path — from the first steps of practice right through to Buddhahood.

This is a living lineage carried by Tibet's greatest yogis, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and our own Gurus. Join us! all are welcome

The Mind At Ease with Venerable Aileen

The Buddhist path develops four transformative qualities—kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity—known as the brahmavihāras, or “sublime homes.” Qualities we each have, without limit, we just need to recognise and cultivate them. These innate capacities can become steady supports for concentration, insight, and responding to suffering in challenging times. We will explore practices to cultivate each quality and release the obstacles that limit wholehearted living and meaningful engagement with the world.
