Yesterday, in the presence of H.E. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche and Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche, an auspicious occasion took place at Guru Drubney Pema Hosel Ling Monastery (Asura Retreat Center), where 9 monks successfully completed their intensive 3-year retreat and came out of retreat. It was a moment of great rejoicing for the Rinpoches, monastics, and the 500 sangha members present, including the retreatants' families and the international sangha, who gathered to perform a Vajrakilaya Puja, offering prayers and aspirations.
This event marked the conclusion of the 11th batch of the traditional Three-Year Retreat at the monastery. Under the compassionate guidance and blessings of H.E. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, the retreatants spent 3 years in complete isolation, dedicating themselves solely to Dharma practice, entirely disconnected from the outside world. We sincerely congratulate and rejoice in the accomplishment of Khenpo Lodrö Rabsel, Lopön Rigdzin Wangyal, Lopön Samten Dorje, Lopön Samten Lhundrup, Lopön Yeshe Lhundrup, Lama Sherab Phuntsok, Lama Pema Döndrup, Lama Sherab Gyurmé and Lama Samten Tharchin.
We would like to inform you that on the auspicious full moon day of Chötrul Düchen (Festival of Buddha’s Display of Miracles), March 14, all 9 monks will gather again at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, and the entire sangha will once again rejoice in their accomplishment on this sacred day, when the effects of positive and negative actions are believed to be multiplied 10 million times.
