Autumn at Anglican Church Zwolle 🍂
As summer turns to autumn, there is plenty to look forward to at Anglican Church Zwolle! From September to November, we gather for worship, fellowship, learning and remembrance — and there is always a place for you.
🌾 20 September – Harvest Festival
We give thanks for all that we have received. After the service, we’ll share a potluck meal and collect food for the Voedselbank.
📖 27 September – Discipleship Meeting
Revd Angela Berben will lead us in exploring the Psalms: ancient songs of prayer, praise, longing and faith, and what they can still teach us today.
🎶 4 October – Evensong with visiting choir
A special Evensong together with the choir of our Lutheran friends, filling the church with music and prayer.
☕ 18 October – Newcomers Tea & Banana Sunday
New to our community? Come along to our Newcomers Tea at 14:30, followed by our annual Banana Sunday service about the many ways we share in discipleship and giving.
🕯️ 1 November – All Saints and All Souls
A service of remembrance and hope, as we remember the saints and those we love who have gone before us.
🌺 15 November – Remembrance Sunday
We remember those who have died in wars and conflicts, especially those who gave their lives in service to others.
Our services and meetings take place at the Lutheran Church in Zwolle, at 16:00.
Whether you have been part of our church for years, have only just discovered us, or simply want to come and see: you are very welcome. Come as you are. 🍁
