The Word of God must first work in us before it can work for us. Sometimes we’re waiting for a manifestation, while God has already given us a direction. The key is to follow what He has spoken and allow His Word to produce fruit in us.

Worship is more than a song. It is surrender. It is obedience. It is giving God what He is worthy of: our whole heart.

Sunday Service Summary (23rd of August 2026)

Title: “The Act of Knowing”

The message focused on the importance of spiritual knowing—not simply having information or knowledge, but having a deep spiritual understanding and discernment that comes from knowing God and being filled with His Spirit.

A lack of spiritual knowing can cause people to leave the place of their divine assignment. Sometimes God sends us into places that are uncomfortable or difficult, but when we truly know that we are there by divine appointment, we will remain faithful even when circumstances are challenging. Jesus demonstrated this kind of knowing; He understood people beyond what appeared on the surface.

The message also emphasized the need to look beyond people’s outward appearance and discern what is spiritually taking place. Not everyone who enters a church comes with the intention of serving God—some may come with wrong motives or even to cause destruction. Therefore, every believer has a responsibility to watch and pray, especially those whom God has placed in positions of authority. Without watching in order to know, we can become vulnerable to deception and destruction. Acts 13:8 illustrates this through Paul discerning the evil spirit operating through Elymas.

True spiritual discernment is a fruit of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Paul did not need to ask God for special discernment before recognizing the evil spirit at work—he was filled with the Spirit and could immediately identify what was happening. The message challenged believers not to remain neutral when the Spirit has made something clear. A person who is genuinely filled with God’s Spirit should be able to recognize and confront what is evil rather than tolerate it.

The central charge was clear: be filled with the Spirit of God and grow in the knowledge of His ways. Spiritual knowing protects your destiny, strengthens your discernment, and enables you to recognize what is truly of God.
