Wesley Methodist Church The Hague is part of The Methodist Church Ghana which belongs to the World Wide Methodist family which grew out of the fruits of the great evangelistic work of John Wesley in the 18th Century in England. OUR POSITION IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
The Methodist Church Ghana, claims and cherishes its place in the Holy Universal Church which is the body of Christ. The Church believes that in the providence of God, Methodism was raised to spread scriptural holiness. The phrase ‘scriptural holiness’ brings into sharp focus the strict reliance on the Bible for direction. In this regard we consider the Bible to be of utmost importance in worship and true Christian living. Our Sunday worship service starts at 10.00 and mostly led by our own Minister, The Rev. Most of our worship services, in typical Methodist style, consists of inspiring music, fellowship, a time of prayer, an opportunity to give our offerings to God, the reading of Scripture, and a sermon. Every first Sunday of the month we gather around the Lord's table as we share in a time of Holy Communion. About three times a year a joint Circuit Service is held in one of the branches (Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam) and the most remarkable is the Easter Joint Service.
