Day 208 -“But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” -Matthew 14:30 (BSB)

FOCUS ON CHRIST NOT THE CRISIS
Like the apostle Peter, all experience the natural reaction of fear when overwhelmed with life’s challenges. However, we can weather these storms when we maintain faith in the Lord Jesus. We cannot prevent the hammering gales of the winds of life, but we can choose not to focus all our attention on them. With faith solely in Christ, let us call on Him and He will save us from sinking. Amen!

Day 207 -“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers;” -Ephesians 1:16 (AMP)

CONFELICITY (shared joy)
It is impossible to approve of the conduct of everyone all the time. However, we must cultivate the habit of being happy for others and praising them behind their backs. Let us endeavor to go out of our way to thank God for a breakthrough in one another’s lives and pray that the blessing remains permanent. By God, others will celebrate you, too, in Jesus’ mighty name! Amen!

Day 206 -“Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also be like him. Answer a fool according to his folly, Lest he be wise in his own eyes.” -Proverbs 26:4,5

RESPONSE OF THE WISE
The wise do not always need to pay attention to the antics of a fool. However, when the situation demands it, we should not merely react; we must respond. A reaction is often emotional and impulsive, while a response characterizes thoughtfulness, strength, and superior judgment. Let us seek the wisdom to protect our integrity to God’s glory!

Day 205 -“The righteous man who walks in integrity and lives life in accord with his [godly] beliefs— How blessed [happy and spiritually secure] are his children after him [who have his example to follow].” -Proverbs 20:7 (AMP)

LEGACY OF FAITHFULNESS
Whether they are our children, proteges, or those who look up to us, our conduct today can have a massive impact on the generations after us. Regardless of the waywardness of the world, God will always extend His faithfulness to the descendants of those who love and honor Him. May posterity praise God on our behalf in Jesus’ name!

Day 203 -“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” -John 10:10

BEWARE OF THIEVES
The thief in this context is not necessarily an armed robber; it refers to Satan and his minions, false teachers and prophets. They intend to mislead humanity into the way of destruction and death. On the contrary, Jesus and His genuine followers seek the growth and well-being of people, especially vulnerable believers. Let’s pray for God's protection from these con artists in sheep's clothing and for His divine abundance, in Jesus' name! Amen!

Day 204- “Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.” -Numbers 12:1

HUMAN DIGNITY
The issue of prejudice, whether based on national, racial, ethnic, or tribal lines, is as old as human existence. In a world not designed for global hegemony, each group should be free to celebrate its unique diversity. It is important to remember that no social unit is superior to another; they are simply different. Let us recommit to treating all people with love, dignity, and respect, rather than hatred and suspicion.

Day 202 -“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”-1 Corinthians 13:4 (ESV)

WHAT IS LOVE?
Arguably, the word 'love' is one of the most misused and abused expressions in the world, mainly due to Hollywood movies. At best, worldly love is transactional, prioritizing personal advantage; at worst, it is fiercely self-centered, showing no mercy when individual interests are at stake. However, godly love is patient—not quick to make condemning conclusions; it is not covetous, nor does it show off; it is not haughty, but demonstrates ability with humility. Where do you fall? May Yahweh help us cultivate Agape, His kind of love!

Day 201 -“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” -John 15:12

TEST OF A TRUE CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY
As the satisfactory fulfillment of the Old Commandments, Jesus issues a new one, which captures the essence of the former. Loving fellow humans is a reflection of our appreciation for God’s love. How does God love us? God loves us unconditionally, and not because we deserve it, but because we need it, or we perish. Can we learn to love our neighbor as God commands us to do? Herein is the acid test of a genuine disciple of Jesus. May God help us!

Day 200 -“whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” -Acts 2:24

ONLY GOD CAN DEFEAT DEATH
In His incarnation, Jesus, the divine and peerless among all other prophets or religious leaders, needed to sacrifice His life by death on the cross to atone for the sins of the world. Although certain people became instrumental in His death, Jesus chose to lay His life down and take it up again. He could do this because He is God. Hallelujah! Yeshuah is Lord!

Day 199 -“Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.” -Ezekiel 37:5

THE DRY BONES SHALL LIVE
In the context of this verse, dry bones represent a condition of hopelessness, helplessness, and death. Similarly, we occasionally encounter dire situations where hope and confidence seem to elude us; when detractors cannot help but savour our vulnerability. Nevertheless, we have the Almighty, who is capable of turning things around with His infinite power. May the Lord breathe life into our situations in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen!

Day 198 -“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” -Romans 8:11

COMPLETE CARE
The Holy Spirit, who resides in us, not only saves us for eternity but also takes an active interest in maintaining our physical health, even if it's temporary. As we age, we can trust in God's grace to preserve our physical health. Let the Holy Spirit be our direct link to the healing power found in the stripes of Christ Jesus. Amen!

Day 197 -“In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety and confident trust.” Psalm 4:8 (AMP)

A SOUND SLEEP
A wise man once said, “A golden bed does not guarantee a good night’s sleep.” To wit, exceptional luxury does not have anything to do with the fundamentals of a good night’s rest. Indeed, it is our Creator and God who is the true source of a peaceful sleep. By the blood, may no harassment or nightmares come near you at bedtimes. You are under divine protection in the mighty name of Yeshuah Hamashiac. Amen!
