Tashi Delek everyone,
How are you all? 🌸
From 7th September, We have started this amazing new learning semester with Lama Jigmè Namgyal Rinpoche, and I am very happy to see so many of you following the online classes with such joy, enthusiasm, commitment and engagement. It is truly wonderful to see these virtuous qualities in our community.
I would also like to warmly thank everyone who came to Tush*ta on 6 September to celebrate with our anniversary and help with unloading the boxes. It was a warm dinner evening, and it was wonderful to see you all there. 🙏
Looking ahead, we have another very precious study weekend (from 18th to 20th September) coming up: “Transforming Anger into Peace – Inner Peace, Forgiveness and Patience”, as part of our Secular Ethics programme on emotional hygiene and emotional intelligence. It will be a very interesting and meaningful weekend, so if you have not registered yet, please do so. 🌿
Also, our ICT Director Wangpo la contacted me today and kindly asked us to join the special documentary screening “His Holiness the Dalai Lama: My Religion Is Kindness” on 25 September in Den Haag. I am sharing both links here — one for our weekend programme and one for the ICT film screening.
If you would like to come to the screening, please let me know. We will be going, and it would be wonderful to meet and attend together.
And finally, after such a meaningful summer in Switzerland and Geneva, where I spent many years, I was very happy to reconnect with so many people, greet them and thank them for their presence and kindness throughout those years.
I have also brought back some boxes with beautiful, good-quality clothes. Some of them I would love to share with anyone who might appreciate them. They are mostly small and medium sizes, so please let me know if you are interested. I already have a few people in mind who may enjoy them, and I am also planning to bring some of the clothes to India.
It is quite funny how life changes — there was a time when I wore some of these beautiful quality clothes myself & I am very happy to pass them on. Now I am not wearing nicely and very manly as remarked by my kind sisters. This too shall pass. Right?😊
So, September is already becoming a very precious and meaningful month for us — a month for learning, reflection, compassion and transformation.
Our prayers are always with all those who are suffering, those who have lost their lives, and those who are still missing. At this time, our prayers are especially with everyone affected around the Tibet–Nepal border.
Please continue to recite the compassion mantras, as requested by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. 🙏
I also hope that, in the future, we can establish a Dolkar Ling foundation connected with these kinds of emergency and sustainable projects, particularly supporting Tibetan & Himalayan regions, so that we can contribute and serve together in a meaningful way. We are already sending informally where we can.
Wishing you all a wonderful, meaningful September filled with reflection, compassion and inner peace.
Tashi Delek 🙏🌸

SEPT 18 - 20
From Anger to Inner Peace 2026
The Power of Patience
Everyone knows the feeling: a sudden flash of irritation, a sharp reaction, or deep-seated frustration. Anger is a powerful emotion that not only disturbs our own peace of mind but also strains our relationships with those around us. Even a single moment of anger can wipe out a lifetime of merit in an instant. In our fast-paced culture, anger and impatience often seem to have the upper hand. Yet, there is a proven remedy. The direct ‘antidote’ to anger is the cultivation of patience.
A Universal Practice (subtitle) Patience is much more than just ‘waiting’. In the Buddhist tradition, it is called a Paramita: a ‘perfection’ or a liberating action that helps us stay stable, regardless of the circumstances. This approach is universal and practically applicable for everyone, whether you are an experienced practitioner or simply looking for more balance in your daily life. Study Weekend with Lama Jigmé Rinpoche (subtitle) During this weekend, we dive deep into the texts and techniques that teach us how to integrate patience as an active force. Our study is based on the fundamental insights from the texts of the great master Nagarjuna.
Under the expert guidance of our precious teacher, Lama Jigmé Rinpoche, you will learn how to recognize the destructive energy of anger and transform it into an attitude of openness and compassion.
