Setterforth Church is an international, English-speaking church located in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. We are proclaimers of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To “resettle abandoned cities”. We want to reach millions of people across Europe and the world with the Gospel. This vision is founded on three pillars: Evangelism, Church revival and Discipleship.

God gave us His son, Jesus. Jesus made the sacrifice and gave us the Spirit of God. So that God will be with us forever. Not just with us, but in us.

HOLY SPIRIT. STUDY SUMMARY. Sunday June 7 2026.

Four works of the same indwelling Spirit - from new birth to power upon.

1 New Birth
He cleanses, renews and seals us - an inseparable union. My body becomes His
temple
John 3:3,5. Titus 3:5 . Eph. 1:13-14 . 1 Cor. 3:16

2 Fruitfulness
Because He dwells in us, He brings the fruit. His work within - a default in every
believer.
Gal. 5:22-23

3 Guidance
He gives perception, leading and guidance. Our part is to give Him the space to do
it.
John 16:13-15 . 1 Cor. 2:9-10. Rom. 8:14

4 Spirit Upon
The baptism of the Spirit - an overwhelming influence that works through us for
God's will.
Acts 1:4-5 . Luke 24:49 Acts 19:1-6. 2 Tim. 1:6

As we prepare for our conference (not many days hence), we remember the believers in Acts 19 who had not even heard of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Believing in Jesus is the starting point, but being filled with the Holy Spirit must follow.

This conference is a divine appointment where everyone of us will believe the gospel, and receive the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues and prophesying as we see in the scriptures.

Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?

Acts 19:1-6 (KJV) And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

It's a new month and we are excitedly looking forward to our appointment with the Lord on June 13 and 14, when we will experience Him in a special way.

We will move from head knowledge to revelation knowledge. We will receive a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our midst.
Miracles, gifts and signs will be manifest among us.

From tonight, we will meet for 1 hour daily to wait through prayer.
