30’s Retreat! ☀️ During the past weekend, our awesome group of 30s and Young Professionals had a time away together in Belgium. Besides growing in community, this was an opportunity to worship intentionally together, study the word, and kindle a deeper faith in one another. Happy to have them back this Sunday!

Tomorrow, our RISE youth group will be hosting a Bake Sale to fundraise for New Day - a summer youth festival for thousands of fellow Christian teenagers. If you’d like to help support them on their journey to New Day, don’t forget to bring cash with you to service! 🧁🍰
We hope this festival will be truly impactful on their journey of faith and relationships with one another. 🙌🏻

Easter Weekend! After Good Friday and a impactful Easter outreach, we celebrated Jesus’ resurrection an defeat of the cross with an Easter Sunday breakfast and service. What a time to worship in awe of the sacrifice and miracle of what our Saviour did for us.

BAPTISM SUNDAY 🕊️ Yesterday we celebrated the baptisms of 6 believers and prayed over them as a church family.

As we pass Palm Sunday and look towards Easter next week, what a reminder baptism is of the sacrifice Christ made and our new life in Him. By the cross, we are invited to partake in redemption through the mystery of Christ’s death and resurrection.
God is so good!

This Sunday we will begin our new preaching series through the book of Exodus. Until the end of June, the story of the Hebrews being led into and out of the wilderness through God’s provision is a parallel reminder of our redemption in Jesus Christ. We have a new exodus; through Him, we are making our way through the wilderness to the Promised Land, a permanent city built by God.

As we will be moving swiftly through this extensive book of the Bible, weekly reading plans with chapters to prepare before Sunday will be sent through the Redeemer Newsletter. Don’t forget to register to stay reminded! (and you can do so through our website)

Please read the first two chapters of Exodus as preparation for tomorrow, and we look forward to walking through this new series together as a church!

The Heart of Worship 🕊️
Following our Worship Day this past Saturday, we had a wonderful Sunday service attentive to worship beyond music. Guests and joined us through the weekend, and it’s always a gift to praise our Father together and learn from one another.
Gideon preached on ‘Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth’ = He must increase and we must decrease.

What a wonderful communion service last Sunday, where we also had the opportunity to pray over two new Deacons as they step up in faithful servitude for Redeemer Maastricht, Henk & Mirjam.

We hope to see you tomorrow morning at 10:30 to continue in the final weeks of our House of Prayer series!
