I often meet people who also want ‘the anointing’. They want ‘it’ instantly. What they mean is, they want what this great man of God has, or they want what you have. But God always has something special for you and it will come out during the walk. Some are not willing to go the rough path. There are difficult parts. With problems, with obstacles, the situations where you do not get all the answers. Answers you’ll get by obedience. Sometimes we ask God something and we complain because of not getting an answer. And I think or have the idea that God says: ‘Where are you talking about?’ I already gave you the answer long ago. We do not see it, we long for short cuts. We are tossed back and forth. God is always right. The anointing is upon you. Use it right.

From my experience visiting many poor people and meeting them, and having my own valley of depression and having lack for many years, I think I have a point when I am talking about prayer and being blessed by God. God is a God of love. And as David says in Psalm 23: ‘The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.’
This is Who God is. He will take care of you. It is not about: that what I need, but about: a God who is my Shepherd. My parents took care of me. There was no doubt. So, why should I doubt a God who decided to be my Father. ‘You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.’ Psalm 23:5. In the presence of God I have everything.

In His presence you have everything. Being in His presence is being with the Father, Who shares His love for you, without focusing on ‘what you can get’. I meant with the ‘everything’ first the actual meaning of Matthew 6:33 ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God’, and then because you are focused on Him, there is not anymore the question: ‘What can I get out of it?’ Because that is still a question coming from sorrows. No, God will take care of you. There is the everything. A full table.

What do you do when you fall, then you get back up. What was the victory that David gained? That was going to God on your knees. In deep distress he cried out to God and stated the facts, but did not dwell on them. He said: God, how precious is Your goodness and Your gifts! You pour out your refreshing rain. I can go with that flow. And then? David testified of the victory. Psalm 36.
