After some technical wizardry, Zen River is now sharing daily zazen and services online.
Already, quite a few people joined us from their homes and expressed how much they appreciated the opportunity to connect.
Of course, we are still in the process of finding out how this works. For now, a new link will be posted for each time the stream begins. To stay up to date what that will be, please sign up for the live-session-list at [email protected].

If you like to join the Weekend E-Sesshin, please register with the office. (Contribution €30) Besides zazen and services, there will be an opportunity to tune into the Dharma talks and a (group) dokusan period with participants. Maybe even a few shots of samu!

As was announced in an earlier update, Hojo-san kindly offered to give Zen River some of Maezumi Roshi's relics so that they can be interred at the newly installed pagoda in the back garden. Hojo-san will come over in April for the inauguration. Shugetsu Appels brought the relics with her from Japan, and the next day we did a memorial service for Maezumi Roshi with the urn of of his relics on the altar. It felt like a very auspicious event; it is as if we are entering a new phase in our practice.
