Dearly beloved, there are moments you tend to ask the question; where is God when it hurts so hard? I believe strongly that if not all, most of us have asked that question severally. Well, you might have a point in asking this rhetorical question, even Jesus, when he was on the cross asked similar question; “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matt. 27:46) As human as we are when difficult moments come, you start feeling lonely as if you have nobody. The feeling of rejection becomes very strong. However, the fact of the matter is that God never leaves us. He always abides with His children. Sometimes these moments are to teach us a few things; to draw closer to Him, to completely rely on Him, to trust Him alone, to humble us, to commune with Him intensively etc depending on the individual. In fact, Apostle Paul relates to his readers how they suffered in Asia Minor even at the point of death; “But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.” (2 Cor. 1:9b). Remember this, in times of trouble the power of God manifests. He is ever present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We might have troubles but he has already conquered the world (John 16:33). Just as darkness causes light to shine brighter, so do your trouble moments cause the power of God to manifest stronger! All you need is grace to stand and endure. When you pray and the answer seem not to be coming immediately, hear God whispers into your ears; “my Grace is sufficient for you…” (2 Cor. 12:9). Jesus ended up uttering these words on the cross; Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. (Luke 23:46). I encourage you to say same when you feel like giving up. In the Father’s hands there is life, liberty, strength, breakthrough, resurrection power and anointing! You shall rise again, you shall make it again, your testimony is on the way and all shall know that there is a powerful God you serve! (Ezekiel 34:30).
Remain blessed!
